Is this airdrop is real please help me! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3360867.0 there is an accusation post in that thread that it was a scam. And the sad part is i already signed up before I've read the accusation post. If it's a true scam there are possibilities that it was a hacker trying to stole our bitcointalk account. What do i need to do in order to prevent the lost of my account.

SORRY FOR BEING AN ACCUSIVE PERSON! I'M JUST AFRAID!

Edit: pls! Check out this post on that thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3360867.msg35214413#msg35214413

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

How would you be hacked with them only having access to your usernames?

Just think about it for 10 seconds and the answer will be clear: you won't be.
Even if you were hacked, any password/email changes would send an email to you and you could lock the account.

You worry seems legit but I do not see anything to be worried. I know your username so do everyone. It can not cause any problem. If I know your the password of your email address or if I can figure out the password of your BitcoinTalk account then there is something to be worried.

I do not see any of these case here. So, just be cool. Always use a strong password for any account and advised to change it at least once in a six month.

PS: I just rephrased actmyname's answer. I guess everyone will have the same answer for your worry. I have your answer. I suggest you to lock this topic if  you are satisfied.

Thanks

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M
