It takes a while for a NOOB or schizophrenic to comprehend the information which has been provided twice. With loved one's support Schizophrenia can be handled. I wonder if your loved ones knows abt your condition. I wonder if OCminer is paying the medical bills for you. 🤔

No, it's not an explorer bug.

Why should anyone accept the answer from the known liar, fraud and/or totally incompetent (not sure yet which) Verge Dev?

It appears to be a bug: https://prohashing.com/explorer/Verge/D7sbycsrSQpj6AjfjsHPb54fvEzN6JH3fp/

I'd still like to hear an explanation about the most recent attack. Giving a 'moving along, nothing to see here' isn't good enough.

There was a significant drop (90-98% difference) in difficulty for both Scrypt and Lyra2RE. Justin, can you give a detailed explanation of what happened there?

See, I'm not sure if it's a bug simply because prohashing might handle negative values as 0.

No they simply can't explain it because they don't understand what's happening.

With regards to the negative balance.. To me, it looks like so-called "double spend", or basically printing counterfeit xvg. However, we can't really rely so much on this (OFFICIAL) block explorer since it it buggy and confirmed unreliable by Verge Dev himself a few pages back. And why bother downloading my own copy of the blockchain anyways? Not going to waste my time knowing that the chain is completely compromised and can no longer be trusted. So, we just have to dig a bit deeper and go with the information available to us.

Anyhow, if we take a sampling of transactions in address - D7sbycsrSQpj6AjfjsHPb54fvEzN6JH3fp - and look up the corresponding block info, we see some odd stuff.

Beginning with block height 2205923 and moving backwards ~> 2205900 - with the initial sampling composed of all debits (spend), and then filling in the missing blocks from 2205900 - 2205923 (I don't care about transactions which are deposits/credits [only debits/spend]).

23 blocks all with lyra2re and scrypt algo mined in what, 5 seconds? Hmm. I thought the first fix was supposed to prevent the same algo from being used that many times in consecutive blocks.

All blocks confirmed as VALID using data from poolovich - http://poolovich.pro/explorer/XVG

( Thanks for the TIP on that explorer Justin, it works well! [And by the way, is it really so hard to get a working Iquidus Explorer up? Hundreds of coins I've looked at and xvg seems to be the only one with an issue i've found. Just wondering] ) . . .

**Note** timestamp data manually set back 1 hour to match that of Verge Explorer. For whatever reason, poolovich 1 hour ahead.

Maybe I'm missing something (hey, it happens), but this does not look OK to me.

p.s. Sorry for the crappy formatting.

As I said earlier, if Michael starts talking about his work in xvg team, things can get intesresting. On the other hand, eventhough they surely have his whole communication (telegram etc..), SEC will investigate just TBIS in this case.

it's amusing to me that you people act like this matters in the long run 'at all'..... way to go short term vision... lol cause every other coin on earth hasn't had an issue from time to time lololololol

No other coin son earth were hacked several times through the exact same exploit that was supposingly fixed. As an investors, I wouldn't put a cent into a system which isn't proven secure.

Would any verge supporter like to explain this? Negative balance: https://verge-blockchain.info/address/D7sbycsrSQpj6AjfjsHPb54fvEzN6JH3fp
has explaination on this been told?
No they simply can't explain it because they don't understand what's happening.

Crickets.

That's OK tho. While I shouldn't need to, I'll break it down a little bit for them.

Notice anything suspicious about the transactions associated with that address?

No one? Little drummer dick drummerjdb666, you don't want to take a guess?

Will check back after dinner time, but it's ugly

It takes a while for a NOOB or schizophrenic to comprehend the information which has been provided twice. With loved one's support Schizophrenia can be handled. I wonder if your loved ones knows abt your condition. I wonder if OCminer is paying the medical bills for you. 🤔
Aren't you the idiot who posted saying that antpool admin said all the transactions were theirs even though he said that before OCMiner said anything? And did you not use that as "proof" for no attack happening? 😂😂😂 Stupid Karan Patel.

Schizophrenic Stroke in Action again ? 😂

Anyways it seems spoonfeeding you info wont help.
Your Master OCMiner's tone wasnt like "Attack in progress", he was like attack was suceesfull when it wasnt.
I and many other have reason to believe that this recent attacks have something to do with OCMiner due to multiple reasons
1. as his ego was hurt after getting banned in our telegram chat.
2. Due to personal differences with Verge dev or sponsored FUD
And so on..

But dont wry, What Goes around always Comes Around.
Just like it did with Monero, after their dev fudded abt Verge,  their blockchain got hacked as well.
If you know what i mean.

Karma will find its way to Shady OCMINER as well Smiley

Several times doesnt means twice btw. Its more than twice. Verge's blockchain has been exploted twice. And yes i mean exploit ! I wonder where were ya'all when bitcoin had many bugs in its early days and when it was hacked, exploited or whatever you wanna call. Verge is basing codebase to bitcoin 0.16
Anyways its your opinion, your money. I wish you good luck with your future choices Smiley

OCMiner posted after Antpool miner posted his post. Your comprehension and skills are shit, that's why you're into Verge.

Again. Keep talking shit. This entire shit started by OCMiner. Like i said its hard for you to accept that your Master's Alleged Attack was unsuccesfull. Keep brabbing shit and look stupid.

it's amusing to me that you people act like this matters in the long run 'at all'..... way to go short term vision... lol cause every other coin on earth hasn't had an issue from time to time lololololol

No other coin son earth were hacked several times through the exact same exploit that was supposingly fixed. As an investors, I wouldn't put a cent into a system which isn't proven secure.

Bitcoin was never hacked twice in 2 months with the same exploit and their devs never ignored people when people pointed out that a fix wasn't enough. Anyway, Verge is going to copy the rebasing from Shield GitHub and we'll all have proof of this because of the magic that is timestamps. And then we'll show you how the verge dev copied the rebasing effort from Shield GitHub. And you'll call it FUD cause your comprehension skills are 0.

Why did you think the Antpool's post is proof? You clearly have no understandimg of blockchain. You're probably one of the Verge marketing admins. You idiots have 0 knowledge of the tech.
