How did you proof anything? This dev and his team has created a coin with a marketcap of about 600,000,000.00$. I am quite sure he should take some help at some point. But you dont do that with only copy and paste. And as already mentioned, it is so ridiculous, that the XSH-guys complain about copying, after they copied the complete verge project... Did he take that part of code from XVG? Yes he did. Whats the problem? Why reinvent the wheel? It is all open source, anyone copies from anyone, and if some idiots would not be so bullheaded, they would better work together, as fight against each other.

XSH forked XVG code to start it's own and XSH developers never hide it or call it's XSH code. Also XSH developers many times thanked XVG developers for this (I really don't know for what they thanked, cause there is no original work in this code, just copy-paste from DigiByte, Bytecoin etc).
But verge developer copied XSH code and said that it's his work, that's why I say that XVG is a crap. Your blindness is on the verge (lol) of stupidity.

I really can imagine you guy. Never made something in your life, maybe living at mom's home with 40+, but the whole day spread FUD, hate and nonsense about other people, likely because you are jealous.

Better imagine how your invesments are going to zero value. I'm pretty sure, it's the only reason that you are denying the facts about incompetence of XVG developer.

And please keep @ocminer out of this discussion. Although at some time his and verges dev discussion was a bit overheated, he did only post constructive and eligible criticism. You haven't done that even once.

You see only what you want to see. Once I did it with the proofs, but you prefer to not to see, lol. Cause it hurt your delicate butt.

It is hard when someone tells a token a scam or whatever without any reason, isn't it?

You hypocritical piece of XVG, you called coin in my singature as scam only to touch me.  Smiley I never said that XVG is scam, I said that verge developer copy-pasted XSH code and claim it's his own work, and this is true.

Continue with the same spirit, little sock puppet. You will get rekt soon with verge and you deserve it.  Roll Eyes

But hey, because of that stupid, childish nonsense, i have to put up with guys wishing me financial ruin. As mentioned, it would not ruin me at all if Verge would fail tomorrow. But do these idiots consider that there are 600,000,000.00$ invested in Verge. A lot of people maybe have a lot of money invested in Verge. And they want to fail Verge and make all this people losing money, just because the verge dev does not have the best manners? Sorry, i do not accept such stupid nonsense. As i said, i think these guys lost some money, maybe because they were stupid enough to think the partner would be amazon or ebay or what ever. And i didnt like that verge team did not do anything to stop those ridiculous rumors. But in the end, the people that really thought these rumors would be true, there is no more way to help these guys i think...

Spot on.  This is a big beef of mine- why should anyone in cryptos wish financial loss on another person in crypto?  Do I want coins and devs to be honest? Yes.  Do I want scammers to succeed? No.  But I do not want a reasonable coin to fail and cause huge losses for hodlers.

Justin is pushing his luck with his leadership style for XVG, so I will suggest to most hodlers that they sell XVG, and if you're not in XVG don't buy.  We've all bought or mined some shitcoins, and we know that cryptos are a risk.

As I've posted, I cut most of my risk from XVG after the wraith failure to launch.  Then last month I was silly and bought another 11,000 hoping for a big partner, and then...  but you know, I knew there was risk, and I took it. Now, it's a risk to trust Justin and I'm not going to do that again.

some people are either absolutely brainwashed and deserve to get REKT

or they are blatant sock puppets for the XVG dev/team....

+1, very good said.

And just there are XVG hoddlers that still believe that their coin will moon to US$1 - 100 doesn't mean that flaws, unethical behaviour, suspicious things, bugs, lies, hacks shouldn't be adressed.

Seriously bevor that partnership i as well holded about 200k XVG as it seemed to be a good coin with potential. But after digging deeper, bein more critical and comparing to other projects that don't tempted to lies und hype i realized that this project with a copy&paste dev on top isn't worth the risk, easy as that.

By now everything is shaddy on this Verge project. I personally even have my doubts that the crowdfund was used for the mega hyper ultra deal with mindgeek/pornhub which doesn't make sense, but that's another story....

Hahaha, that post is hard to argue with. Why are the XVG devs even trying? There's nothing wrong to get inspiration and from other people's code. That's why open source is great. Just fucking admit it and move on!

Trying to make up their own truth just makes them look stupid and childish.

Arguing with GitHub commit dates are about as smart as arguing with data on the block chain.

Not smart.

Quite simply, it appears to be a double spend.

There's lots of them too..

Gee, I wonder why they have to keep adjusting down the block reward for miners.

OHH, and it looks like the original attackers are successfully (I mean, you know, I am assuming here at this point) conducting their mining attack again.

https://verge-blockchain.info/address/DT6njVVHhthnKtZAoDCx5Xug4G6xtLsDrP

Quite a few blocks over the past few days. 142,853,089 total xvg stolen, essentially (assuming we can still trust the data on this block explorer).

I don't see why anyone else doesn't see this happening. It's that hard to set up some alerts on data we have - known attacker addresses still filling to the brim with coins?

Sorry, but it's over for Verge.

[edit] for clarity, that is 142,853,089 xvg in one address of attacker wallet. Pretty sure there were hundreds, if not thousands more addresses posted by OCMiner

Stats on XVG Blake2s algo / pools seem off to me.. I have suspicion about it.

This address seems odd:

Anyone else noticing anything?

In reference to that address, not only are timestamps off:

Hi, CHIEF56 i read now your post. This address is my pool adress (antminepool.com)
Effectively the official verge explorer show as a valid generated block (with confirmation) but in my wallet is marked as orphan block.
Code:
/usr/local/bin/VERGEd gettransaction fb2d402e64099839d114ad25b252e4d2b22ba14f6ab19c82bf984127e840b1e4

Probably downloading the entire blockchain and rescanning all transactions i can recover the block if the official verge explorer is the correct one

Probably downloading the entire blockchain and rescanning all transactions i can recover the block if the official verge explorer is the correct one

Interesting, and strange. I'd like to know what you find. I've not had time to try to install verge core and download the entire chain to check myself.

I checked now in all my 3 wallets (same wallet.dat) and it is orphan in all. I think is a verge explorer issue or probably the block was initially confirmed and later orphan.
The block height was 2219796 ops sorry 2219797

Well, then who gets credited with the reward?

That is your address?

And most large/reputable Lyra2rev2 pools I see - all orphaned blocked over past hour.
