Network Attack on XVG / VERGE

I'm a noob to Verge and came to this thread just to figure out what the fuck is going on. So far, I've read up on /r/cryptocurrency, /r/vergecurrency, and here, trying to figure this shit out. As someone who knows their shit when it comes to blockchain but is new to Verge itself, I haven't seen any evidence as to an attack actually happening. Can someone clear up the bullshit and lay out the evidence, and point to exactly why their evidence proves there's an attack going on or not? Thanks.

Yeah read the first page which was posted almost 2 months ago and listen to a guy called RUBBERDUCK59..   These sock puppets have no idea who they are supporting or what they are talking about. In short, there was an attack on verge two months ago and then about a week ago(which was way smaller than the first) and today the god of crypto "OCminer" decided to spread FUD again but probably didn't think it through. Verge has been patched and is running just fine and there is no attack.

Boom. 3 attacks that shouldn't have happened (and probably wouldn't have if you had a competent developer).
Your projects porn money should have been used to hire some great developers who could fix your problems, lol

The so called "Hacker" you & your master are claiming is no other than Antmine pool address who are getting rewards for mining Verge just like evrry other pool. Come up with Actual and Real Claim & not some fake news.

Antmine wasn't "averting" so-called FUD nor was he addressing any. Rather, he was replying to a simple inquiry of mine as to why miner rewards are being credited (with many network confirmations) to an address when there is no block data available + transaction is non-existent on other block explorers.

IF you think that finding the truth is astounding, maybe you check the Verge channels, just as an example on the attack some days ago Verge said it was a Ddos attack on miningpools, missleading whole community while knowing better.... Just normally that everybody here has his guard off when something strange like the 300 diff last night happens after x attacks and whatever not.....

2. there is no third attack, as far as we can tell.

3. we dont need to copy paste code from a competitor. if you are referring to shield coin, they copied our entire codebase to create their coin, they just forgot to add the privacy features.

The administrator of the mining pool OCminer reported a third attack on the Verge network. One of the users of reddit noted that the developers should take advice from PornHub, how best to plug the holes in the blockroom.

difficulty goes up and down. could have been an attempted attack, but it was not successful. so far, no malicious blocks have occurred in the last 24 hours.

we are rebasing our entire code however.

Deja vu? I remember reading this/similar as first statements on attack 1 and 2 as well. Not even mention the duration of the attacks that totally differs from your official statements and true, what's left for the whole amount.

Sounds good, but that doesn't make any sense at all. IF the shield code is the original XVG code than all these attacks shouldn't have happened at all IF XVG had it allready.
The only other possible explaination would have been that: It was the XVG code at the very beginning, you messed it totally up several times and now use again the original code. Only in this instance your argument makes sense as it excludes all other automaticlly when you claim the last "shield code fix" is original XVG's. Not sure which of both scenarios is worse but it does not left space for any other i can think about.....

stealth was created by sdc. denarius actually removed their copyright, which is pretty fucked up. we left the shadowcoin copyright in it.

verge is a fork of peercoin, obviously. (was, after the new rebase to bitcoin we've been working on)

and the stealth.cpp file came from shadowcoin, not denarius. denarius removed the SDC copyright from their header in that file. ours retains the shadowcoin copyright.

You're avoiding what I addressed. During the first hack you claimed that you were working on a patch and yet you just copied it from a different coin (which didn't work). The second patch is a copy from the Shield Github and you're slandering them by saying that they copied it.
