How many webdollars per day would you on average get by staking - let's say - 100,000 Webdollars?
Is there any anti-hack protection (passwords etc) for the coins you stake have in your browser's wallet?

I believe this answer to your question mate

You can encrypt your wallet and mine/stake in terminal with it. For browser you must have the wallet encrypted at the moment. But a new feature will offer cold staking, so good thing are coming.

So I have been trying to Pool mine (Via all the pools on webwallet.io) I get up to 3 or 4 coins then it clears stops mining and starts back at 0 again then i have to wait 5 minutes to reconnect with the nodes then i get 2 or 3 and then my balance disappears to 0 AGAIN.. i am not trying to Mine with NO POOL and it keeps switching to WMP on its own. That is of course before it shuts down and spends 7 to 10 min either trying to sync with the node or the blockchain one?   Is this coin still in the beta phase or something? I have tried now on to p.c.and I am getting nowhere...? I just want to mine Decent block of a decent coin before all the whales take over and don't save anything for us broke folks.... Please shoot me a p.m. tell me as to what I could do to get this coin mining CORRECTLY?

Thanks Devawnm367

To mine solo in POW rounds you need considerable CPU power and install Linux terminal. For example, with a Ryzen 2600 you can earn 1-2000 WEBD per day. And you must mine in a pool and leave it open 24/7.
If you try mining solo, at the competition that is now on the network, you need at least 10 servers with at least 20 CPU cores per server to catch anything.
So for POW only in pools is doable at this time.

But it's a lot more easy if you will do POS mining (staking). You go to P2PB2B.io and buy 100K WEBD and then mine like that. It makes more sens even economically and you can even do it from a PC in browser, no need for Linux terminal on POS or a server. It is easy!

If you want to mine solo in POS you will need at least 20 million WEBD to be able to catch blocks, so like for POW, it is best to do it in only in pools.

The competition is fierce now, it is not like 1 year ago when Webdollar was launched.

you could use https://www.hostero.eu/ to easy set up your terminal mining. Also you could mine dual mining due POS (proof of stake) and POW (proof of work) algorithm.

yes, have a browser wallet, created automatically when you open webdollar.io website. from there you just need to encrypt, download and save your wallet on your device and keep it safe. Assure to make some back-ups in different locations. Cheers

Visit our telegram channel https://t.me/Webdollar_WMP or https://twitter.com/webdollarchain to find out more about pool mining.

All the best!

Hey I hope it's the right section to post this.

But is there a solution for the connection being lost every time in the browser mining??
Now me and a few friends just waist lots of energy, 90 a 95% of the time we don't have mining power.

And when is concensus in working? If we try it it drops down to 0 mining power.

I was looking to get the terminal back at work.
But that crashes.

Is there a new tutorial for the terminal?
Looks like some things are changed now.

thx guys already.
You could use https://www.hostero.eu/ to easy set up your terminal mining.

Visit our telegram channel https://t.me/Webdollar_WMP or https://twitter.com/webdollarchain to find out more about pool mining.

We are eager to help you guys in order to grow together!

https://webdollar.io just does not work.

Been trying for 4 days, 2 computers, many browsers (firefox, palemoon, chrome, brave, opera, edge)

even if it EVENTUALLY starts "mining" the site will randomly reload, you will loose every single token and will start all over again.
(as mentioned above even when it does start it is bound to fail afterwards)

Constant networking errors, constant reloads, no matter the pool it just refuses to work and of course you will loose all your "mined" tokens time and time again.

It feels way more like a scam that uses your CPU for now.

Most of the time its doing the "staking" rounds. So, if you don't have enough coins for staking, you will be missing those rounds. Which is why you only sometimes see it "mining".

If you had enough coins for "staking", it would always be either "mining" or "staking". Also, try not to jump pools constantly. Choose a pool and stick with it.

The page reloading is definitely annoying. But as far as i remember, they've added it so your connections auto refresh in case you lose connectivity and are not aware of it to refresh yourself. I do hope they improve that entire system, so there's no more refreshing.

Also, for pure mining, right now, the hashrate is pretty high.. so you would have to run the node/miner thing, which is a lot of faster and does not use the browser. Tho a bit more complicated to set up.

Also you can drop your address here, someone might send you some coins, so you can do both mining and staking rounds. But then definitely stick to one pool and just let the browser do its thing. Staking in multiple pools with the same wallet is not allowed.

Yes, our consensus mechanism is unique. It is very stable from a economic point of view for a cryptocurrency.

Thanks for your message.

Well the premise of this coin is that it is easy to use, pop your browser, visit a site and you are done, it has been approx 1 year and they still have the same problem , networking errors, (dont remember the exact error something about cluster) , the "miner" just keeps on loading / not starting for most of the DAY (tested it in 2 computers for approx 28 hours, it hardly worked for more than minutes)

I read posts about these problems 1 year ago , and the devs saying that they have over 1000 miners... Really? 1000 miners and the entire system crashes ? I tried changing the pools to see if I can get this working , it does not and the cumulative sum of miners did not exceed 1000-1200, if the entire project can not support more than 1000 miners after 1 year , it is a major failure (IMO) and probably its team does not have the skills/ knowledge to get it working.

It is a nice Idea (popping out your browser and mining away earning tokens), but it is simply not working, no matter how many browsers / computers you try. it is an exercise in futility , there are literally thousands of other projects  / coins that need you to download a miner / set up a node, so if that is a must for this one as well , there is no reason to bother as the premise / selling point if you wish of the project just is not there

"Staking in multiple pools with the same wallet is not allowed." - you can do it but you risk to be penalized for this action and also, lose your coins.
As you mentioned above, it will need 100 webd minimum to start mining POS rounds. Minimum payout of a pool it's when you hit 20 webds.

Leave your address here or in a PM and you maybe get some, or join https://t.me/Webdollar_WMP channel and write me there.

Good luck!

You are not alone Smiley

I tried this also and same thing it does not work I get lets say 200 webd then mining for a week 24/7 balance increase = 0

Tried on different machines with my friends same thing.

The webd team dont care because yes they have 1000miners maybe and every day 3 new (instead of every day 50 new) and then they think thats good and you who complain(1 who took time to write from other 60 frustrated people who just went away) is just having "bad computer".

"Easy to use crypto right from browser" -> fail.
