We released a new update today. WebDollar accepts https now https://webdollar.io . At the moment, if you have mined on the HTTP version, you will need to download your wallet accessing http://webdollar.io from test net 3.5 and import in the new HTTPS version https://webdollar.io . In a couple of days, we will disable the HTTP version and we will enable only the secured HTTPS version.

I see your point and you are possibly right since most of the people are anyway quite uneducated about financial issues, even here in crypto. I'll join your telegram to keep an eye on the project.

Yes, unfortunately most of them are not that well informed about cryptocurrency and even fintech this is why we chose to reduce as much as it is possible the interaction of end user with the tech by providing blockchain technology trough a friendly UI.

Test Net #3.5 Under Maintenance

This is because we will have few more updates until test net 4.0. But now every think is going well. We will reactive the updated WebRTC network soon.

How does the fee work?

I've got 3000 coins, from a wallet imported from http into https

Tryed to send the coins to the new https wallet, and the max amount I can send is 89.9999, somehow the coin limit to send is 100 including fee

Is there a limit to the amount of coins sent?

The fee will be the reward for the miner which will include your transaction into the block. In the future miners will be able to exclude transactions with fee under a x set by them.

No, there is no limit. Try to send 10.12 and see if is sending 1010 maybe because your regional language inputs settings it wasn't work. I just tryed to send 89.9999 with 9.9999 fee and it works.

Let me know if you did succeed.

I mined coins yesterday all day and got a few thousand. Today there is nothing in the wallet. Do not waste your time on this.
This is a test net, man! Find bugs, report them and they will fix them. Help or move on. I'm not the one to tell you what to do, you can invest your time and money in this or not, but unconstructive and hateful remarks don't help anyone. Hmm, unless if that's your purpose or you are from competition  Huh.
A couple hours ago, we released an update 3.5 and a hard fork resetting all the wallets to 0 WebDollar is in test net, so everything you mine are Test Net Coins and many times when we do substantial updates, we create a new hard fork for the miners resetting all the wallets in the system. Before the launch of the Main Net, there will be a few more updates and a few more Hard Resets.
I think that you need to warn people about this in advance. Write in large letters in the first post of the topic. For example, in SEMUX there was also a testet, but the coins were transferred to the main network. In general, I like the idea of a webdollar and I will follow it.

For that we need to make hard fork on the protocol and we want to keep it as clear as possible. We want to have a fair start for everyone to know start mining in the same time.

At http: //webdollar.yo  shows my balance in the wallet zero. I had more than 13,000 coins two days ago...  Huh

Just correcting a small typo. Our website and the place were you can mine is https://webdollar.io

During testnet the wallets balance could reset to zero. Also when main net will start, all the wallets will reset and everybody will start from zero.

Because we are in test net and we have a small issue and some users are blocked to mine. We are working on right now on this issue. You can browse trough https on our site but you will have different wallets because indexeDB considering a different site if you're using http and then https. But you can impor your wallet from http to htpps. Today after solving that issue you won't have the same problem. Please let us know if in 1 hour the problem will still exist,

I agree, a really excellent article, I have posted them both on my facebook. By the way, where are you based exactly in Romania, if I may ask? I am there quite often.

I had over 3,500,000 webdollars, then your site wrote me to refresh because I did not find the internet connection, I refreshed and I found myself with 12.01 webdollar. It seems to me that your system is not very secure, it has almost completely erased me

We are in test net for making WebDollar perfect and we hard reseted all wallets. Our Protocol is very secure and we and our community can assure this. Please feel free to join in our community on telegram: https://t.me/WebDollar for being keep up to date about any hard reset until the main network. Or you can check http://webdollar.io and https://webdollar.io maybe your wallet is there. Depends if that did happen to you after or before last hard refresh. I sent you 100k testnet WEBDs

You have mentioned that people with higher hardware resources will be able to mine more by opening several browser threads. Does it mean that people with GPUs rigs or even ASICS will at some point somehow manage to step in and get most of the hashpower? I'm asking that since this would totally defeat your approach for a real decentralisation.

Argon2d is ASIC resistant and nor friendly with GPU mining, therefore we're more close to 1 CPU = 1VOTE than Bitcoin and we're following the Satoshi's initial vision about decentralization.
