Right, so I've done the unthinkable: Created a new wallet but forgot password and lost the seed.

I've been poking around for some help on this, and I saw this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=240779.0, as well as some others talking about brute-forcing a wallet.dat password which can be done fairly easily when you've got info about the password (which I do).

Anyhow on that thread, there is an explanation of how to create a dump of your wallet to send to someone else to crack the password, but removing what they'd need to be able to actually spend the coins.

Is this possible with a deterministic wallet like Electrum? I've got pywallet up and running with the web gui, and the "create dump" option doesn't seem to work on Electrum wallets.

Thoughts?
