Hi,

Just wondering if you guys will stay in crypto (aka hold or sell your BTC holdings) if the price does not recover.

Lets say we are still around 6k-7k by December 2018 => Will you wait it out or give up and say "OK, we had a nice ride but we are not going up again"?

What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)

Yes i will because no matter how the market prices drops, there is always a chance that the market price will pump up again due to volatility.

I'm already plus and I have no reason to be broken even if by 2019 we will fluctuate between 6,000 and 7,000. The growth will be, just everyone will begin to invest more strongly in altcoins and new projects to earn and there will be no such volatility in bitcoin.
The truth is that almost everyone should be breaking even, only those that invested in cryptocurrencies when the market was clearly overvalued and those that sold their coins because they thought the market will crash are the ones losing money, everyone else should have profits or as you said at least breaking even and if they are not then that is their fault for making those mistakes.

I agree with you, for me when the market has grown to nearly $ 1000 billion earlier this year. Financial groups have begun to take part, it is a channel for making money in the future, even if prices go up or down, they will also make money from the market.

although in december bitcoin price still move around $6k, it can be our opportunity to accumulate our stock.maybe in 2019 or 2020 it will hit $60k as many expert said.especially in 2020 bitcoin will halving.

I think if you come out of cryptocurrency and you sell the assets you own it will make you lose, but if you stay and hold your assets until the price back up then it can benefit you. never sell your assets at cheap prices or at cheaper prices when you buy.

I would not mind, I have been around for some time and I know this is the way bitcoin works even if the price never increased again and it kept its current value I would still be around, but that is unrealistic the price is going to increase again since the technology does not stop improving and more people enter the market every day and this makes even easier to hold my coins for the long term.

The main difference between bitcoin and all the other altcoins that are already on the market, is that bitcoin is always recovering from every dip, all the other altcoins, not.

Yep. BTC has given so much from knowledge about money and technology and trading and more. If you really do love what you're doing and you're passionate about it, you won't leave easily, even if it means that BTC will shoot for the moon and still miss. I once read that for one to succeed, he has to believe in what he's doing with such passion that it becomes reality. And I believe that BTC will continually improve and rise up. As for me, I will keep on hoping for BTC to moon again til it becomes reality.

yes of course I will be faithful to wait until bitcoin prices again to recover the price because I think bitcoin prices can still make the recovery of the price depends on the good news that can trigger a rise in bitcoin prices. essentially you do not lose because it sells at a cheap price.

As long as bitcoin is circulating, I will stay in crypto. It is true that bitcoin's value now is way too down comparing to its value way back december 2017 where it pumps up to $20000 but I think people will still engage in bitcoin.

Yes, I still and surely stay and stick to bitcoin no matter the price is low. Recover is not the right word to describe bitcoin because first and foremost bitcoin is volatile so it is normal that the price keep changing up and down.  There is no reason to back out because I understand clearly what I came here to.

That is the essence of trading, investing and selling your coins at the right time will make you profit and only your patience will be the problem because sometimes you might sell your coins at the lowest price and from there you will lose your money.

I stay in bitcoin even the market does not recover, because not only bitcoin can get more profit they have altcoins that you can get more profit than bitcoin. They have other strategy to earn money even the market down by investing to ICO and other business.

I don't have the luxury of being around Bitcoin for more than 1 bull run, or more than 1 downturn, so perhaps what I can profess is not reflective of experience to back it up, but I think I'm staying for as long as it still works and is still in use.

Price has never affected how much I am willing to earn and keep aside, nor what I spend, except perhaps I used to try and time by sells - I do it less and less now.

I'll earn as much as the price dictates, and spend as much as the price dictates.

In our lives must always be optimistic and realistic, if bitcoin does not recover then it is crazy if you continue to be in bitcoin, I will be out for a while and wait when the market has improved.

If the price never recovered I will get out of the market, however I am a very patient person, there are some that got out of the market after a few months, but I am not like that I am willing to hold for at least 5 years before selling my coins, 5 years it a fair amount of time to let bitcoin recover, if it does not happen by that time then I will sell.

That is too much interested. I can see that even the bitcoin price is still not responding too good but still people are interested to continue holding bitcoin and not to remain side line from the market. I think that they have only hope that bitcoin price can respond at any time and therefore they are not going to sell or remain out from the market.

It will have to recover, there is a halving coming in 2020, so I am not worried even a bit.
