Masternode GUIDE
What you Need1. more than 25,000 HDX
2. one computer with hedron-qt wallet installed. (put more than 25,000 HDX in this wallet)
3. one VPS (ubuntu 16.04 )
4. a small amount of technical knowledge.
step1.1-1. Load your wallet and sync
1-2. shutdown hedron-qt
1-3. find your hedron.conf
1-4. add the following line
staking=0
save and exit(this will help you trun off pos)
step2.2-1. make receving address
2-2. send exactly 25,000 HDX to new address
2-3. after 15 confirmation, tools->debug console
2-4. type masternode genkey
then, you can get masternode privkey. copy it. (notepad or word). (ex. 6pYpQ1PijNbTDRvTXoqQhkD7pQq1NpbuPQnGMGkQEi4JHAafMiH)
2-5. type masternode outputs
then you can get tx_output & tx_id (ex. "efjaklsdfjaklwerujfj24u8dkjEk7u59sdklfjklksdjf" "0")
copy it with last number 0 or 1
step3. setting up vps3-1. download putty and install it. (find it in google)
3-2 .use vultr.com or any VPS
(I use vultr.com)
(1) select any location (2)server type ubuntu 16.04 (3)server size (what ever you want) (7)pick server name
3-3. after install sever, run putty, enter server ip and connect, clicking "yes" to save the new ssh key. enter username=root and PW from the website(copy it and paste by right-click)
3-4. type this things
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install software-properties-common nano libboost-all-dev libzmq3-dev libminiupnpc-dev libssl-dev libevent-dev
add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
apt-get update
apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev
apt install unzip
press y or enter to install everything.
3-5 download linux wallet
wget
https://github.com/hdrn/hedron/releases/download/1.0.1/hedron-linux.zip3-6 unzip wallet file
unzip hedron-linux.zip
3-7 run daemon
./hedrond -daemon
you can see
hedron server starting
after that, stop daemon
./hedron-cli stop
3-8 make configuration file
nano ./hedron/hedron.conf
type this
rpcuser=hedronrpc
rpcpassword=GCo77ysdorCsohmiaweQZCKkFDpurvDctHAZzeED1bB4
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=64
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=YOUR_MASTERNODE_PRIV_KEY
ctrl+x, y, enter
3-9. make masternode conf file.
nano ./hedron/masternode.conf
In masternode.conf file you need to copy/paste the line from the masternodes.conf file in the qt local
wallet:
mn1 YOUR_VPS_IP:12548 YOUR_MASTERNODE_PRIV_KEY TX_OUTPUT TX_ID
For example:
mn1 45.76.250.89:12548 92TPhvQjKd5vMiBcwbRpq3g4CnPVGUAZGrorZJPNJoohgCu9QkF a9b31238d062ccb5f4b1eb6c3041d369cc014f5e6df28d2d303d791acd4302f2 0
ctrl+x,y,enter.
3-10 start daemon again.
3-11 check sync
./hedron-cli getinfo
-check the block number-
more checking
./hedron-cli mnsync status
check the masternode sync status.
step4. go back to window wallet4-1. tools -> open wallet configuration file
type
masternode=1
save & exit
4-2 tools-> open masternode configuration file
In masternode.conf file you need to copy/paste the line from the masternodes.conf file in the qt local
wallet:
mn1 YOUR_VPS_IP:12548 YOUR_MASTERNODE_PRIV_KEY TX_OUTPUT TX_ID
For example:
mn1 45.76.250.89:12548 92TPhvQjKd5vMiBcwbRpq3g4CnPVGUAZGrorZJPNJoohgCu9QkF a9b31238d062ccb5f4b1eb6c3041d369cc014f5e6df28d2d303d791acd4302f2 0
save & exit
4-3 restart the wallet and go to masternode tab press "start-all"
4-4 you can see "pre-enable" status, 10~60minutes later, you can see 'enable' status
