Hey guys I recently built a 12 GPU mining Rig with Gtx 1070's but it keeps freezing on me when I start the mining. I have tried multiple things to try to fix it but I still can't Figure out. I thought it was the risers in the beggining but I tried mining with one row(6Gpu) and it worked then tried with the second row and it worked aswell but when they're together it either freezes or resets.

Program: Nicehash

My Specs:
GTX 1070

Asrock 110 Pro BTC+

16gb ram- I thought 8gb was enough but like I said earlier I just started different things and bought another 8gb so now I have 16gb

2 1300W PSU

8 GB of RAM is enough. I am in fact running the same 12-GPU rig of 1070s as yours using only 4 GB of RAM.

My suggestion to you is as follows:

1. Reset your overclock settings. You might be overclocking one or two GPUs in the 2nd row beyond their capacity. Not all GPUs are created equal.
2. Find and isolate the problematic GPU. Try to start adding GPU's from your 2nd row one by one and start mining. See which GPU causes it to fail.
3. Try running multiple instances of your miner. Copy paste your batch file and run 6 GPUs on the first mining instance then do the same with the remaining.

Alright, I'm going to give it a try and let you know if it fixes or not! thanks!!
