The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
It's also the fact that many of these tokens don't get listed on exchanges at all. Best to invest in an ICO that is launching an exchange with the token. Hard to find? Maybe you don't have to look so far Wink

Actually airdrops of these days are nothing but useless tokens that will never get listed on any exchange. Although there are few really good ones, these are very difficult to find these days. The useless ones just occupy the whole space and you end up not detecting the good ones.

I am yet to see the rationale behind calling airdrop of cryptocurrency token scam. I feel if you paid for something and you could not get the desire result or what the claim of seller was prior to your purchase, then you could call your coin scam. But if you get something for free, nobody have any right of calling such free coin scam!

Can't contend with you on this one. Any individual who has ever done airdrops realizes that there are a ton of times where airdrops don't pay out and they simply end up being tricks. Truth be told the occasions that airdrops don't pay out the coins that they guaranteed are more than the occasions when airdrops do pay out. This does not imply that there are no great airdrops out there however.

Not all airdrops are scam, it's getting scam because the ICO is failed or the ICO did not reach the fund they needed. I joined more airdrops now but i receive some, like 5/20. Because many ICO's now are getting failed because of not reaching the fund they needed.

I can confirm that 70% of airdrops are pure fraud and do nothing. We only spend time and effort on assignments to participate in airdrops.

I participate AN exceedingly|in a very} ton of deliverys and that i agree that the majority of the airdrops area unit scam!! I joined an airdrop, and it's in wire, a larva and you'll claim each hour to receive token and to payout you wish 100tokens of that. And guess what i reach fifty tokens thus i cannot withdraw? as a result of it's not a hundred, see? which means you have got to shop for firt a lot of of their tokens before you'll withdraw them. ciao pure scam and that i don't participate any longer.

99% too big for judge airdrop is scam. because lots of airdrop are real and not scam. so do not always think the airdrop is a scam, take a look at their roadmap and who are the team and their partners, it can all be taken into consideration before joining airdrop.

I myself do not know, whether the statement is true or not. Clear, airdrops are now indeed an awful lot that does not produce. And even the result is also not comparable with what we used to do.

The above statement I think because you often get the Airdrop project scam. Just a few of the successful airdrop and when entering the Exchange until recently could still survive. Now many people are leaving the Airdrop and prefer to follow a Bounty campaign.

True, 99% of companies will not send you coins. And the coins you get with a 99% probability will not enter the stock market. So be careful even better stay away from aridrops, because airdrop is very easy to make and anyone can do that.

If 99% of the coins are scams or no market , its better not to try to join on any airdrop cause its a waste of time. I stop joining airdrops because of the shit coins I got from it.

I agree, I join as much airdrops as i can from April until now. But I didn't receive any token yet. I feel tired of airdrops and i move to bounty, Bounty is better because it run on Bitcointalk forum and legit.

A lot of airdrops and most of them are scams. If you analyze the projects behind the airdrop, you can still find the real ones. Not all bounty activities are bad, but I must say it's hard to know which is best.

No, this is only 2018 current condition. If I compare with last year (2017) there are many legit airdrops. Like BLUE, ELTCOIN, EREAL, BITWHITE, REBL, and many more. So, I can say 2018 is the worst time for airdrop. I think the last Airdrop which gives good token was POLYMATH.
I totally agreed with you because right now there are just very few legit airdrop, almost all the airdrop out now are scam, they dont pay after the ico is over

Yes. I have not participated in Airdrops for a long time, because most companies do not list coins. But even if they list, I have to wait a long time and in the end get a very small amount.

I was a newbie. I started to participate in the airdrop a few months ago. Maybe you are right, I have participated in many, many different airdrop campaigns that I can not remember. But until now, the number of tokens I receive can be counted on the tip of a finger. Even my email is constantly being spammed by airdrop invitations. So annoying.

To be honest i was new to all of that, bounty, airdrop and etc.
The first bounty program that I've joined was snovian.space, don't know much about this project, but I've received my tokens anyways, not much, but I hope there'll be more in the future

The number of airdrops of scams that circulate now makes the interest of investors to decrease dramatically. The decline in enthusiasm certainly has a negative effect on crypto. Crypto market prices also declined, due to low demand. Be careful in choosing airdrops, it is better to work for projects that can clearly provide promising results than you are just in vain with a token scam from airdrops.

You should hope that the tokens you receive will be valuable in the future because I previously received a lot of tokens from the airdrop, but most of them have no value and they are just junk. You dont need to join too much airdrop and just join the airdrop of the token that has value and is exchanged, it will be better
