Hey im just curious i just picked up like 10 of these and 2 or of 10 of them are giving me a ERROR: Selftest error. Time out at 2000 ms.

Try worked for about 2 minutes then they started giving that error message using BitMinter Client i download the drivers for it and installed it the VCP drivers

so 2 out of 10 give an error just curious if anyone knows anything about the error and how to fix it.

Using Windows 7 64 bit.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

What kind of hub are you using? Be sure that it has enough power for all of your erupters.

EDIT: Appears to be a power like as said luckly i have extra USB ports to get me by till i can get a better USB hub.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120866023977 is the USB hub im using also bought a AC Adapter with it appears to i guess overload the USB hub i have 2 Block Erupters running on the hub and the rest are running off single USB ports on the computer.
Any of you recommend a Usb hub that will support running 10 of the Block Erupters? Under say $40?
-----

Kinda figured it would be a USB Hub problem but i was hoping to be wrong.

Kinda SOL on a hub to use i guess it appears i can't even get 5 to run at the same time guess thats what happens when you buy a cheap USB Hub. Guess im have to put 2 aside then till the weekend. Hopfully i can find a good USB hub local to use.
