Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Hi, I want to start mining, I already registered (on Curecoin pool), downloaded CPU miner, followed instructions to create and configure batch file but when I double click it, it opens console for just some seconds and then the windows gets closed. In few words, it doesn't seem to work. I use Windows (64 bits). What can I do?

Hi,

With difficulty over 3 million, it's not worthwile to be mining with CPU and even with GPU will take days to find a block.  You can try http://arg.cryptopools.com with CPU since difficulty is a lot lower.

Or if you want some really easy to use with CPU, try http://bytecent.com

Not that I am aware of.  Why do you think there is a problem?

Ireakies was mining for a week with 500 Ghs, and he found no new block also the actually block needs 29 confirms for more than an week. And there is no network hashrate shown in the dashboard.

OK, I'll put some hashrate on it tonight and see what happen.  Thanks for the report.

Restarted stuck cron jobs.  Ireakies did find a bunch of blocks and I just found one.  So all is well.

i see u added a DMD Diamond pool

that was a good coin selection for a longterm pool operation

the actual POW reward will stay unchanged until 2018

Yeah, I updated the OP but forgot to post here.  Good to see you are on top of your coin.

I think there are less than a handful of POS coins with real long term value and DMD is at the top of that short list.
