As you all probably have seen, there's a "News:" tab which states the latest stable version of Bitcoin Core.

Can we get other wallet software notifications added to this panel or is it easier for the admins to just leave it as the official client (Bitcoin Core). Personally, I'd like at least electrum to also be added as I use that one a lot and always miss the updates (and though there aren't any critical updates that go without me spotting them - we also had the warning here before - I think it would be helpful to get a notification on the News panel as well).

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I supposed It might be a good addition about important update as I also used Electrum however thetmos is afraid of losing the space in that area cause he loves it that way it is the only announcement that is really necessary in all of us bitcoiner or enthusiast which ever you prefer.

There must be someone wants to run a node and it is entirely possible in whole blockchain.
Code:
You can just add .org like in bitcointalk.org in electrum it wouldn't be too difficult to remember

I also support this because it usually takes me some time to know about new electrum update through a random post on forum.

If theymos likes Bitcoin Core (according to Cobalt9317), then he may setup the display so that 1 out of 4 times the Electrum's latest version gets displayed and the rest times the Bitcoin Core version. It would follow the similar system as the Ad-Slots follow.

This would users to quickly get to know about latest version to secure them from security flaw(if any) in previous version asap.
