Currently in a bear market, I suggest you invest in BTC.
Because only BTC has been recognized by all countries, the investment BTC has long-term benefits and less risk.

QTUM staking has been live since their ignition mainnet launch on 9/13. Block rewards are disproportionately high right now due to a relatively low network weight (~20M).

QTUM in my opinion has one of the largest upsides of any other PoS platform. Their protocol stack is built on Bitcoin’s UTXO blockchain and has integrated the EVM (ethereum virtual machine) smart contract protocol using their AAL (Account Abstract Layer) protocol. If you have the money, now is the best time for you to buy and hold bitcoin cause the price is quite low. But if you are looking into altcoins because of low capital then I can suggest ADA (Cardano) and XLM (Stellar). Though Ethereum is also considerable. But on a serious note, you should make  your own research because those coins I listed above is just what I consider good for me. You may have a different opinion.

I think it depends on how long you want to hold on to the coin you want to invest in. When it comes to short time investing, the bitcoin is preferred. But if you are looking for a long time hold, then look to any of the altcoins.

Bitcoin is still the best coin for now. I will try to look for other good coin. I really curious about masternode coin for now. Masternode coin has many devotee so probably it is profitable.

Even if the market is really in down fall I probably wanted to investing bitcoin because I truly believe to it's system capability and ability to perform better in the crypto market. For me, the best coin is of course that of Neo. Because it is a Chinese ethereum and has a great perspective, and I bought it in the summer of 2017 to $ 1 for 1 Neo (before Antshares)

I have a few options for investment but BTC will surely be the first to qualify among these options. There are many reasons to prefer BTC, especially in terms of being the most reliable port in the market, ease of use and ease of use.
