what do you have to say for investors that bought at 1 sat before the fork - they are now down 1000 times - since price is not 1000 sat - but 10 to 20.  what are you doing for us?  where is your marketing?  your community?  is this now a scam coin that everyone should avoid?  being listed on exchanges and publishing possibly fake news articles is not going to make this project a success.  the community does that - the community you are not communicating with.

Incognito is a very nice project cause it is trying to ensure the privacy and security of users. Also its Block reward of coin is awesome.

Incognito is a very nice project cause it is trying to ensure the privacy and security of users. Also its Block reward of coin is awesome.

The block reward was reduced with the previous fork, but it is still very rewarding to mine given current sale price and daily transaction volume / listing on 5 exchanges

Based on feedback from the community we are looking to move to a a more aisc resistant and miner/community friendly Algo - (cryptonight heavy or v7) or also potentially releasing our own POW.

This new POW should be released within the coming weeks.

I like high supply coins because its more stable wich, i believe, is what we really need for adoption. I would like to know what is the inognito emission rate, how long will it takes to have all coins circulating?

YA, IMO it will be only a high circulating coin that has the ability for mass adoption. I'm talking MASS adoption. As borders become less existent and we move towards a global economy. There eventually will have to be a crypto to replace fiat, or be the next closest thing. That being the case then means that roughly a population of 7+ billion people need to be accommodated with crypto. Likely there will be one main one and I doubt it will be bitcoin.21 million Bitcoin and 7+Billion people does not divide up well. That is roughly .003 btc a person. Obviously it won't be divided like that, just putting it into perspective, But I just don't think people are going to be attracted to having their life savings calculated down to like .004 whatever of a bitcoin. It's just not appealing at all to something so important to everyone. People want to see large numbers in their accounts  when they look at their balances. Not working their ass off for how long to only end up with a small fraction of something to show for it. Its for that reason that I think hi supply coins are going to be the coins of the future. Especially rich people, they work so hard for those 00's in their bank accounts. That is just my 2 cents anyways on high supply coins. Going to invest a bit into INCOGNITO coin
as well now to, have been seeing it on trade ogre last couple of days and decided to look into it. Cool

If you develop your own proof of work from scratch isn't that also a bit dangerous in terms of bugs? Maybe better to use a proven algorithm?

Always invest at your own risk. If it goes to zero you must know that the dev won't give you the money back.

Yes it is a risk
Most likely we will update to zawy12 lwma difficulty and keep the same algo for now

Update complete for 'Zawy12 LWMA difficulty algorithm'

Should reduce risk of 51% / timestamp attacks

And smooth out pulse mining / difficulty adjustments on mining pool

Download new wallet - https://github.com/incognito-currency/incognito-gui/releases
