The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

2FA only protects your account. If a hacker decide to target the site hot wallet and steal funds, your bitcoins will be at risk as well. Just deposit the amount you're planning to trade right away, do the trade and withdraw anything remaining.

2-factor authentication is a very good way to keep your account secure. But I do not believe that your account with a balance of 0.08 btc was hacked. You yourself gave criminals the opportunity to access your account. Hacking an account is a very laborious and expensive exercise. No one will hack accounts with such low balances.

2FA doesn’t protect against phishing or MITM attacks where the attacker is able to intercept your 2FA credentials.

In general you are safe with 2fa.
Keeping your coins in cold storage or on your own system would be better though.

If you already have your password on your email changed, and if you changed your password into something more secure than what your previous password was, I'd say you're pretty safe in terms of hacking, together with your 2FA on your LBC account. However in the event of security compromises on LBCs end, there is still a possibility that your funds will be lost if the hacker knows his/her way around the site. Generally, 2FA-protected accounts are secure as long as you don't lose your device for confirmation or your email which is connected to your account isn't compromised in any way.

enabling Two factor authentication is a safe way to protect your account but how they hacked your bitcoins no idea. People can hack our systems but the hacking account is a tough job only professional hackers can do this work. Do one thing install Internet security to your system and keep your coins in hardware wallet.

If you're just asking if 2FA is safe, it is very safe. Just keep your private key safe somewhere "offline". Like write it down and keep it.

Old news. Phones are very insecure in general, you should be doing anything bitcoin related there. Just use a good Linux machine without any malware and you don't need to rely on 2FA. I think some people managed to hack accounts through the possible links of an smartphone with a bitcoin related account.

We cant blame bitcoin for the security measures they have and protecting our own bitcoins but then its our own duty also to take care of our own accounts and wallets.Any credentials that we have, we must secure it by keeping them and try not to share them to others.

Protecting bitcoins, wallets etc isn't only duty of bitcoins. Also we shouldnt always depend in there security procedures, it is also our own duty to keep things secret specially our accounts and credentials in real life or even in internet for safety.

Your account is completely safe when you are in 2FA mode, bit if yoi want to keep your bitcoins longer then move it to a wallet where yoi have the private keys which is most safe when compared to any other security method.

This. No system is 100% safe. You need a many pronged approach. First always do a scan of your computer before logging on to financial sites or crypto exchanges. Use a different email and password for each site. Don't use google to find the exchange url - instead bookmark all the important urls and go to them directly. And click the lock icon next to the url - it should confirm that the site you are going to is actually the correct one and gives you details of their security certificate.
