With a decentralized system gigtricks will give the power to the community and it will solve many of the problems of the freelancers. That's what I think.

What exactly are the shortcoming that you all are refering to? Isn't the existing platforms are decentralized too?

the dispute is the most DISPUTED issue in the gig industry, all major platform available right now, deal disputes in a centralized format and the decisions these centralized authorities take is most of the time not fair at all ... and its a known thing freelancers are the once that suffer most from it

Lol true, but GigTricks dispute management is decentralized and decision will be taken by the top performing community members through voting process, and these voters will be selected on random so now that's a plus

Respect for you for coming up with such great ideas to empower the freelancers. I am just wondering, does your gigtricks learning also has any decentralized approach in it?

Yeah dude , the courses added will be rated and reviewed in a decentralized way too, i read it in a previous discussion couple of days ago that gigtricks plan to have three level screening for courses at gigtricks learning that is, initially gigtricks bot will screen courses , the the team oracles will review and rate and finally the users taking the courses will rate and review and the buyer rating will have the most weight

One of the main issues that we freelancers face is having no control over our work product and having proof of our work, GigTricks is using blockchain technology to help create a platform for freelancers, do they have anything to help us with these problems?

That is a very fundamental issue freelancers face on a regular basis, I’m glad you brought this up. I hope this new freelance ecosystem does something to overcome this issue.

GigTricks will be an excellent intermediary between entrepreneurs and freelancers on a global scale. It will act as a mechanism for connecting specialists around the world to trade services with each other, using the GigBit token.

From what I know, freelancers will be able to store all their data in a block including their work, I presume, and it’s permanent so freelancers will hopefully be able to keep a proper check on their work and profile as well.

If what you’re saying is true then that’ll be great! I mean it’s a whole new way of dealing with the freelance economy.

Yes, having all the information store at one place and the freelance profile will not only make it easier for the freelancer but also for people looking to hire them. I mean having everything I need to know about a person I’ll be hiring makes it easier for me.

I agree, out of curiosity i wanna ask, who would have the possession of the work? The freelancer or the client? If it’s the client the freelancer still doesn’t have proper proof of their work.

Hi,  😊 we are glad that all of you are taking interest in knowing about GigTricks and its feature and cannot thank you all enough. Yes, you all are right in your understanding, GigTricks is implementing a decentralized approach throughout its ecosystem. At GigTricks Social, the content poster, the viewer will get GBTC because advertisements. in contrary, the existing platforms keep all the benefit and earnings to themselves and also charge commission on the gig. Similarly our dispute management system is also an example of the decentralized approach. Thank you 😊

If what you’re saying is true then that’ll be great! I mean it’s a whole new way of dealing with the freelance economy.

We at GigTricks are well aware of the issues faced by freelancers. One of the major issues being not having control over their work product and proof of the work they have completed. To overcome this, all of the data can be entered into a block, along with the freelancer’s profile, real examples of work, positive reviews from clients, etc. It is permanently there. And if one wishes to enter new information, then entering it into a new block is always an option. We believe these solutions will help freelancers lead a better career.
