alts are diluting to shit i think many alt fans will soon jump ship back to btc ...alts are becoming far too risky and the chances of picking a real winner are reducing daily.

most huge MC alts are icos and those caps are bullshit there is no investment or infastructure behind them to compare to btc.

there are a handful of alts with long term dev teams plugging away that are specialised enough in their use case for them to hold off btc encroaching on them for a while

i don't think it will reach that much value this year i am only predicting it on 10k to 15k maximum cause many media news is destroying the reputation of bitcoin and the government wants to control the value.

The media is just a sounding board for the power brokers who can use the media to drive the prices up or down.

Personally I'm done investing in bitcoin. I only use it as an index like the Dow Jones or the S&P 500 as an indicator of the overall market.  My focus is on existing and upcoming altcoins that will take over as the new dominant player by massively improving on the technology that bitcoin is lacking.

50K this year seems impossible. The market changes a lot and the btc may never reach that price, it may be replaced by another crypto that will become the market leader... When Bitcoin was trading for 5000 USD in 2017 people were saying that the next step is 20 000 and every response was:
-first we need to reach 10 000. Do you believe that people won't sell at 10k after doubling their gains? You're stupid!
And we of course went almost straight to 20.

It's hard to believe such so-called experts nowadays since the market is very unstable and it do fluctuate randomly but only hard fork could only trigger that rocket fuel of any crypto to the moon. But since we are now in a bear season that speculative price for now is just an imagination that might happen in the future but in reality we do find it impossible due to the movement of the market.
