I read this on Bitcoin News , additional information in cryptoworld. Cybersecurity experts have warned that half of the stolen "NEM" coins might have been laundered already on the darknet. That's why Japanese authorities have decided to set up a center dedicated to combatting cybercrime, including crypto theft . 500 analysts and investigators from different branches of country's law enforcement agencies have joined the unit. I know some members here have their NEM token on their wallet... This restriction of Japan on the growing cybercrime trend in crypto world is what we need to avoid different scams.

It is true that most tokens are hard to track. And many exchanges have security issues, so it is necessary to set up such a department.

That's why japan government was putting latest announcement to the majority of exchange sites to increase the capabilityt of their security. It looks like japan is seriously fighting with the cybercrime. It will be so difficult to track, it's based on the algorithm. it looks become true.

The thing about this thefts is that there is an international scene for them and a very complex one, it is like prosecuting a criminal that moves the money across 10 jurisdictions and having to get an order in all of them.

it's time security for the future to minimize theft of crypto ,indeed NEM theft has become the main hot on topic in various news and this also has a strong effect in all markets so that more correction occurs lately ,always remain watchful against this kind of theft

This is actually inevitable. Any government in their right mind will do that especially when it involved the theft of a huge amount of cryptocurrency that translates into huge amount of fiat. This is the government's duty in the cryptoworld, thwart and prevent any hack/scam to happen. Though, one caveat that we could get here is that they will implement more restrictions and policies towards cryptocurrencies. This will be beneficial for us in the long run because many people will invest to cryptomarket once they think that it is safe to invest in it.

Japan is working really hard to stop cyber crime and crypto theft. This shows the support of Japan towards cryptocurrency. Though it cannot be said the steps undertaken by the Japan government will be fruitful or not. But we hope for the best.

Nem hack happened ages ago. Security for cryptos are especially important because of the fact that they are irreversible. Since it is decentralized, there is no way for a central entity to reverse payments the same way it is done through the banking system. So exchanges should always protect their wallets with sufficient measures, something that wasn't done in the NEM hack. Scams are a completely different thing. Crypto scams can happen to anyone that is buying stuff with BTC. Again, the irreversibility of btc is exploited.

Japan, probably, is one of the most loyal countries with regard to bitcoin. They want to create a stabilization fund for the bitcoin course. Prohibit various projects that have signs of fraud. Fight against cybercrime. There is a very large tax in Japan on digital money. And I understand where these resources are used.

Japan is indeed capable of tracking these bastards but i dont care about what will happen to this coin, because i dont have any of this shitcoin. The community doesnt care about this coin anymore, but good thing about japan is they are willing to do everything to protect their asset, that is why they should keep what they are doing to fight these shit people.

It only means japan is eager to protect their citizens from these attacks, and i hope they will be able to track these bastards so that these people will get caught and put into jail for the rest of their life, stealing someone else money is never a good idea because these people are earning their money in a hard way which these people doesnt understand.

It is true that we need to avoid to fall victims of scams but at the same time those that lost their tokens in that way were not completely responsible for it, the one that was responsible was the exchange, which show to us that we need avoid leaving our tokens there only as long as it's absolutely necessary and as soon as you are done trading you need to get your tokens out of it or you risk losing them in a hack.
