If you watch on the Jan '18 price you will see ATH all coins. And today it's in the 10 times less. That's why 'green' market today is the weak copy of winter market. Yes, who want to enter now it's a good time for event. But for other holders this rebound don't have any value

I wonder how the hell this kind of thread is merited with 5 merits, when I first saw the Title I thought it would talk about some kind of a black market for weed or something like that  I think that now that most of the altcoins have lost a huge percentage of their value (up to 90%+) is a good time to buy, taking into account that some may never come back. High potential, huge risk. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose and everything will be all right. Do it and you'll lose money almost for sure as you'll dump it very soon if it keeps dumping in the short term. |

Buying altcoins is interesting to buy potential coins, but I think choosing a good coin and having a future is difficult.
There are currently many coins circulating in the Cryptocurrency market.
The best time to buy an altcoin is when the price of the altcoin has decreased in price.

I agree with you mate.We can't predict when the value will started to rise up or not.The only people that can predict was the millionaire people because they controlled when they are going to buy or sell. Unfortunately, you are absolutely right. we are not these people who can affect the cryptocurrency prices. The market is controlled by the whales - they know the answer to this question. |

But: Remember that the total value of all cryptocurrencies and tokens is today only 2-3% of the total value of all fiat currencies, so the trend can only be up! And high quality altcoins will pick big parts of that space that will be captured - not sure that it will be bitcoin at all, when things advance. I would use this summer lull and directionless market to do my study and research in peace for the future winners, to spot them and buy into them now, when everything is very cheap! One can make a lot of good bargains today… Seek for the hidden gems with a lot of study, analysis and thorough assessment of projects. You just need to do your research carefully and don't trust ICO listing sites etc. because ratings can be bought. Careful research is very important to avoid scams and other low quality projects - don't trust anyone but your own research! I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. This will also boost tokens issued on the Stellar platform... My most recent find among alts is AXU, "Argentas Exchange Unit" token issued on the Stellar platform and listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange, now only at its pre-distribution, or pre-ICO phase. A true hidden diamond, with low profile so far. Experienced people clearly, and cool tech for decentralizing and revolutionizing global banking - their website at argentas.io.
