Many people are asking on this forum if Bitcoin will survive, what will be its value in few years and how will regulation affect the industry. The truth is that Bitcoin itself is designed to be used as a payment method. Right now, majority of Bitcoin transactions are made for the sake of speculation. Therefore I believe what we need for Bitcoin to fulfill its potential is to reach the grassroots and be used for micro payments. That can be achieved only when the regular people will adopt this new exciting technology and start using it for payments, not only as investments. When this happens, the price of Bitcoin will tremendously grow as people will be buying it in order to be able to spend it and volatility shall decrease due to larger market cap and distribution.

I really wish to see this happening within 10 years time. My expectation is that cryptocurrencies will become a viable alternative to local currencies. This can only happen if you members of this forum will help to spread a word to your friends and family about the cryptocurrencies and what they can do in order to help the normal people to decentralize their payments and give power into their hands. Don't hesitate, we're all responsible for the success of cryptocurrencies!
