I heard this saying; that switching from name coin mining to bitcoin mining; is better; as you can trade more bitcoins for namecoins;
But if everyone does that; the namecoin network shuts down; from no miners; and no block finders; and it dies.
So everyone can't stop mining namecoins; There has to be some.
NameCoins are dropping, and dropping, as people realize this; but if everyone does; then no blocks.
Name coins are at 54 Giga hash; and it is dropping. It is starting to ponder if it is going to die.
I have about 3 giga hash of system power; and i donate about 200 Mhash or so to this pool.
I am hoping others can keep it alive at least. It is on its last legs; and i wouldn't want name coins to die.
Now you may be reading this post; saying well it doesn't have to be me; someone else can do the mining, there are billions of people
in the world; and it doesn't have to be me. But if everyone thinks like this. Then no one listens to this statement above; and no
one helps in the mining of namecoins.
It can be very little; it doesn't have to be huge; like for example you can have 200mhash running on bitcoins; you can donate like 10 or so.
Like 1-2% or perhaps less.
Just every small bit counts. Besides 10-20mhash isn't very much earning in bitcoins a day; it take a month or so to earn anything;
now if everyone that read this and did that; that would be like 100*20=2Giga hash; and suddenly it makes a difference.
So i hope you can keep this thing alive.
