Remember this qoute "If its too good to be true, its probably it is"

Just go directly to bitmain or ebay. There you'll find much more trusted seller.

Take this suggestion if all things are too good to be true then better stay away from it because 100% its just a scam.I dont know why people would risk up or tend to try just to save up but didnt even thinking off the possible risk behind it. Always rely on current prices by bitmain itself and all things being offered lower are always shady.

I'm pretty sure nobody in the market is selling S9's for $1,000, regardless of how many you buy. The closest I saw in the marketplace for hardware goods was $1,500 and they turned out to be a scam/broken, so I'm pretty sure you would never see your money again.

EDIT: I retract my statement, due to Bitmain price decreases and coupon sales there are a ton of s9's hitting the marketplace since last I looked.!!!

I stumbled upon minefarmbuy.com. Anyone with experience in purchasing through them? Seems reasonable enough, but I've never done a group buy before.

Looks like ruinous found us before we could make an announcement. We're still developing our logo and noticed our squarespace marketplace went live so we have left it up and accessible since it has already received attention and visits.

We are ready to take orders for batch buys at anytime.
We are 100% legit as long as people want to participate in a our group programs we refer to as batch buy.
The larger the order the more sway we may have in bargaining price. Which we then return to our customers  as a partial refund since we are not a retailer and work on a commission of 2% (this is included in our prices and is pre shipping and tax).

If you check us out minefarmbuy.com our pricing is pretty standard compared to industry on items we have information on.

Yes, with Bitmain you can order directly from website if desired and we understand the community is used to this. What we offer is a broker service, our pricing is structured to included: 1x Miner selected (unless noted), customs/duties/import fees and our commission. All you pay for is your selection(s) and shipping within the USA from our physical location in Portland, OR to you.

Currently we offer just service to the US but may change to international depending of demand and costs as we will always want to offer as close to wholesale hardware as possible for our customers.

Our avenue is to make buying and receiving of hardware easier, not fighting other independents or whales for gear when we can work together and the ability to purchase with your debit/credit card or any cryptocurrecny our exchanges support (reducing exchange fees for us all). All in place of waiting for batches to open up at odd hours of the day/night, exchanging currencies, only to not be able to access the website or enter items to cart. We all know the rigors, we want to change that experience.

We do have promotional antminer s9's on sale as single units. Just three offers at various prices starting at $1k USD.
Sort of standard to have something of a deal/special/promotion when opening a business.

I hope you all check us out and jump in on one or more of our buys in the future.

I would not use them because they don't have any reputation.

And since you are sending first to this company with an irreversible payment method, if anything goes wrong then there is absolutely no way to recover your funds. Do not buy mining equipment from random sites that you find, no matter how good the pricing may be.

There have been multiple scam sites in the past all selling miners that resulted in people getting scammed, which is the reason why I'm warning against this site.

@minefarmbuy, use a escrow if you want to seem legit in your business dealings.

This whole store is built on free http://www.squarespace.com/ so they can easily run away with your money.

Check whois https://www.whois.com/whois/minefarmbuy.com
They are not showing their real name and addresses which also suggest they want to grab few bitcoin and run.

Looks like they have only spent some money on their domain name and came here to scam newbie buyers.

Stay away from this shithole...

We are new company and site but squarespace isn't free if your on the commerce side. Yes we purchased a domain, we set up a commerce account, trust account, credit payment processor, etc. You're much safer using a card than crypto and will be easier and quicker to refund.

As well refunds are available if you check out the site FAQ it will outline our refund policy. As we are a broker we don't do item returns but will assist in anyway we can with the manufacturer. Continuing to provide all the service we can after the sale and delivery is just as important to us.

Buyers can request their funds back up until their group batch buy is sold out. As no service is rendered till an order is placed, outside of payment processing costs.

Again, our FAQ outlines a lot of these questions, we understand there will be skeptics. The only thing we can do is deliver on our promises when buyers come to us.

We understand that our site isn't complete but additions will be made daily. We hope to build trust on reputation and bring more legitimacy and ease to hardware purchases and the group buy model. Making hardware more accessible here in the States. Please contact us if you have any questions.

It may look appealing but this is a new company and I don't know how serious and reliable they are. If you are really appealed by the 1K price for group buy , just go check Amazon, there is a single T9 antminer which is almost same as S9 a few THS less but you can get it as low as 909 dollars so worth a try.And it is quieter too. You can get a used one even for 775 dollars so I think you should check Amazon out.

I know some countries have pretty high customs fees, but there's zero reason to buy a miner from Amazon at all, especially the T9+, when you can get a $400 Bitmain coupon for around $100 on these forums and shave off $300, and the T9+s supposedly ship about nine days from now in a worst-case scenario according to Bitmain's site (though they are occasionally wrong).

The T9s and T9+s are completely different miners with different internal designs and specifications . Please do not refer to the T9+ as a T9. The original T9 did 12.5TH stock, while the new T9+s do 10.5TH stock as a starter. The original T9 also housed 171 chips instead of the 162 in the T9+, and the T9 is slightly more efficient than the T9+ (0.126W/GH vs 0.136W/GH).

Squarespace has free trial options and only $18/month for Business account, if someone bought S9 for $1k from you, you just x100 your investment.

There's no guarantee that you will do a refund once buyers has sent their money into your pocket.
Where did you get an S9 for $1k anyway, when the manufacturer itself selling it for aroun $1,1k

x100 times our investment on one sale? No, we work off 2% commission that's built into our pricing. Outside of our 2% any surplus is property of the trust and is returned, promotional buys excluded but check our FAQ. We buy product and bargain on behalf of our buyers, specifically so on batch buys. For standard solo buys most of cost savings will come in the form of logistic savings through shipping, and customs/duties.

The decently discounted 14th/s s9 units are special rates given to us by manufacturer. Just three units that we're able to offer (we were hoping for more but are happy to have these). These buys are all inclusive pricing including commission and customs/duties but like I mentioned aren't part of our cost return bargaining. I can't give specifics on our bargaining for discounts or on these units but assure you these are legitimate new, factory sealed items. Most solo buys are shipped directly to customer from manufacturer, where we are the contact for shipping/customers should issues arise.

We hope you enjoy our site and check out all our offerings.

Why T1 dragon mint miner is too expensive?

The halongmining.com is selling this miner around $1300-$1500 last November, your price for T1 dragon mint miner is $5000?

For those newbies I suggest you to directly buy on manufacturer site just to be sure that you are safe.

There are many scam website I just wanted to let people safe.

The price for S9 is cheap.

So, what is our assurance that we can receive the unit directly to our home?

Since you are newbie we can't trust you for selling mining hardware.

At the very least, if you're a new site and you don't have any reputation you should accept some form of escrow so buyers aren't getting ripped off. All of your sales pages are incredibly undetailed, and your blog is filled with grammar errors, and your site overall looks unprofessional and not something I would buy from even if your site happens to be legitimate, which I strongly doubt it is.

You don't always have to buy directly from Bitmain. There are times when you get much better deals in the Computer Hardware section or even sometimes eBay. You just have to remember to always use escrow on anything you're not willing to lose and you'll be okay.

The Halong may have sold for $1500 last November, but they're currently OOS on Halong's site, and even before these miners went OOS I recall they raised prices to somewhere around $2000. Still, a markup of $5000 is still extreme considering you can get 4 S9s with  PSUs from Bitmain direct for that much.

The number of miners you buy won't be getting counted, on the whole you'll find an average price on each and every service selling miners. Even the long term used mining rig cannot be bought at this price. Might be something similar to the referral method through which might be getting some profit on buying.

Thanks for the feedback I'll pass it along as none of us are web designers or bloggers.

When you purchase with mfb you agree to TOS and contract which includes the trust account (like a lawyer uses), all funds are protected this way and similar to an escrow but reduces costs, as escrow would require another third party. Our trust accounts are insured and protected. Again, these aren't our funds till we fulfill the contract, Even the 2% commission is refunded as we don't make money unless the orders are placed.

The DragonMints are at a $5k price because there is no time table for next batch. As we well know that hardware prices are expected to go up as bitcoin price bulls in the future and we have seen some insane prices on hardware coming out the last two months. We don't want to under charge and ask for more money later from those who really want to plan ahead. But the price is being used to deter purchasing. We don't want the volatility of buyers coming and going from batches they join. All pricing is updated the best we can with our small team and we will be watching and listening for updates from Halong.

I also got word already that we won't be detailing item specs on our site outside of variants of same models (like s9 for instance). We really want buyers to research and come to us when ready keeping wait times for batches to fill at a minimum. If you're new to mining we have solo batch buys we recommend.

Of course I'll respond here more but if you have specifics we have opened threads on bitcoin talk and you can always use our email, site contact form, and social media will be coming soon.

Regards.
