If by "dig a bitcoin" you mean mining, then forget about it.
You can't even mine with the strongest GPU, much less a phone's CPU.
If you want to mine bitcoin, buy an ASIC and join a mining pool

Well as far as i know any Cryptocurrncy  based on any algorithm does not support mobile mining. i.e They have not released mobile supported wallets.
POW(Proof of work) based Cryptocurrencies can not mine in any mobile devices as these algorithms need extensive processing power simply which any mobile device cannot provide.
May be in the future POS(Proof of stake) based Crypto projects will release mobile wallets as POS algorithms does not require extensive processing power.

Simply you can not mine BTC in a mobile device.

But there is only one Cryptocurrency that supports mobile mining called Electroneum.

Few facts:
1.It has over1 million users.
2.It is listed in Kucoin & Cryptopia;price is round 0.02$.
3.I couldn't find any technical details in google about the project  or  which kind of algorithm they used.
4.Mining software codes are in the github so nothing to fear. (In my opinion)

Please refer:

Disclaimer

I am neither a Electroneum miner nor a supporter.
Mobile mining may effect the life time of the device.

Mining on a mobile does not have 'to be supported'.
Neither do you need a wallet on your mobile to mine cryptos.

All you need is a small application which uses the mobiles processor to make the POW.

POW(Proof of work) based Cryptocurrencies can not mine in any mobile devices as these algorithms need extensive processing power simply which any mobile device cannot provide.

They can definetely be mined on a mobile. But depending on the hashrate a mobile phone is able to achieve, this whole process is kind of senseless.
But mining itself is possible on a mobile. In the end, mining is just a 'specific way of calculations' (which any processor can do).

May be in the future POS(Proof of stake) based Crypto projects will release mobile wallets as POS algorithms does not require extensive processing power.

For PoS mining, your funds have to be staked. This can be done from any device where you can access your wallet and the internet.
Mining software != wallet

Mining these days on mobile phones is impossible no matter what cryptocurrency you choose you cannot get profit on those high difficulty levels but I will suggest if you want to make money from your phone then go for faucets they are going to pay you lot more money then you will make with mining on phone all you have to do is visit a faucet and claim, just keep repeating this step and you can make some money but I doubt even it will not be profitable enough but you can try. But after reading all of this you still want to try the mining then here are some apps which can help you on that or else you can go to github.com and get yourself some scripts (that will be a lot better).
ARM miner, Bitcoin Miner, crypto miner, electroneum(recommended in this case).

OP probably already knows smartphones can't effectively mine Bitcoin, if I were any smarter, I'd suspect him of considering ways to hijack phones and get some script to mine for him. Was it last month where supposedly millions of phones were infected by some kind of mining script? A million phones and their tiny processors still probably won't do anything with the current Bitcoin difficulty though. Almost four years ago, you'd have needed 15 million Samsung S3s to run a full 24 hours to mine the equivalent of 1 BTC. According to this, anyway: https://blog.lookout.com/mobile-miners

Digging a bitcoin through phone will eventually make your phone to die pretty sooner. Trashing your phone to get 10-20 satoshis is not good. If it's a overheating phone like redmi or some other, then you may end up in fire accident by losing yourself. Do you think that bitcoin can be downloaded by having a ultra fast network connection as if you are downloading tons and tons of data from the internet? You think that a decent network connection can generate a lot of coins, but it's not the case, you need to spend unimaginable computational power to mine coins.

Please read what is hashing and come back here and ask the question or try to buy a ASIC miner and start digging (mining) up. That too you need to join a pool to get a decent reward to pay for your electricity.  If you are OK with losing your phone for 10-20 satoshis you can proceed with this...
