Please, be responsible in sending merits

There are newbies who are trying their best to earn merit. But when they see a shitpost that got merit, how do they feel? What you think? Of course they'll feel unhappy. That's why some newbies think that merit system is very unfair. For this system to be a success, it is not only the poster's responsibility to make a quality post, it is also the one who'll give a merit has to be responsible too. Give it to the ones who deserves it so the newbies will be pumped up and be encouraged.

I do also concentrating on sharing the merits. Whenever I found the interesting topic or answer I use to send the merits to them. Whether it is newbie or legendary that does not matter for me at all.
Recently moderator has been caught the person who is sharing all the merits to all his accounts with his thread on the services section.
Some users has been bursted out for using the merit wrongly by hilariousandco so I do not think so we need to do anything apart from these things to watching the merit trading and responsible way of using smerits.

Frankly I don't care one whit how they feel, because when shitposters get merits, it's usually from their shitposting alt accounts or they bought the merit from some other low-ranked shitposter.  Their feelings on the matter are their own, and I suspect the big green ugly monster of jealousy is what those feelings amount to.  

OP here is just begging for merit in his own way, but it's good to see he hasn't gotten it here.  This thread might as well be entitled "Water is wet".  There's nothing worth discussing with issues that just need some common sense applied.  Nor can anyone change it if people want to give merits for garbage posts.  If there's evidence that some cheating of the system is happening, that's another story.

People doing that won't listen to you, and responsible people don't need you to tell them this. It is as simple as that.

Can you give me an example of shitpost that has been meritted? Yeah maybe it exists but do you think that's a post coming from an authentic account? I bet no. I think those shitposts that have been merited happens only when there's a merit farming from alt accounts. Honestly, I've never seen a person/merit source who gives a merit for a non sense post.

Merit system is not unfair, maybe you only tell that because you find difficult to earn some. This system works really well, period.
