Imagine a cashless society

Just by using your phone, you could purchase almost anything. No need to withdraw on an atm. No more heavy coins on your pocket. Paying bills, and purchasing tickets without standing on a line. Very convenient and less time consuming. I know we're already using credit cards right now, but using a single currency like bitcoin world wide could really help on transaction, having less error than the normal and faster transfer and of course the security. Do you guys think this could happen in the future of bitcoin?

Yes that's very good for all of us if ever BITCOIN become primary use in all country, people are very wise there's no need to use in a usual method because we are now in a new generation stop using almost 1 to 2 days processing of all transaction, only bitcoin the solution of slow processing.

This is already happening in China but definitely not Bitcoin as the majority being used. In a few years when all paper money goes out, our development as a society and human race will definitely go faster as the time wasted on lines and bank transaction delays will be eliminated.

If a society does not have cash, I imagine the society will be very developed and modern. People do not have to spend a lot of money to pay for services when traveling, buying ... I am thinking of it, but bitcoin have its own problems like the block time as the time in which transaction gets confirmed is pretty high due to the block time being pretty high, so the transaction gets confirmed in minimum 10 minutes if you pay high enough fees and are lucky, but if not your transaction gets strucked for days and weeks. Another problem is the acceptance of bitcoin, there are not that much shops that accept bitcoin as a means of payment. If these problems get solved then we can think of cashless society.

Even if it sounds so sweet and good. It's still not possible. Maybe it may happen in the next century, but for now, no. For our society to become a cashless society or countries, every society and countries in this world must have an equilibrium level of technology. Whereby, there won't be a need for paper currency.  This may be hard to achieve because,  some countries are still lacking heavily in technology.

At the moment it is not possible, but in the coming days when bitcoin rather all crypto currencies will be legal throughout the world and people would be using them for daily life purchases, at that time we would be surely preceding towards cashless society. It is going to take time but not impossible at all. There would be some countries that will experience such society earlier than others such as Japan.

   Globally, progress to a cashless society is slow. Some countries will
be cashless in next 10 years. Every region have a different speed of
progress, but goal is the same, one day world will be cashless.
   What will replace cash? Same traditional currency in digital form? Or
digital currency based on Blockchain technology?
   Bank's will not disappear over night. Their fall did began with Blockchain

the idea of cashless society is just basically a convenient way to spend/save your money without having to bring a wallet and an actual money with you. i get the fact that it was more easier to put it that way but, it is just that you tend to forget that physical and digital money may have the same characteristics but they differ in some instances. and not all countries are that advanced when it comes to that way of payment.

Cashless society is really good because in this way, people can have faster transactions and since bitcoins price is volatile then we can expect that the value of our coin will increase even more and products will be a lot cheaper.
