Actually if it's getting cheaper to mine it, the price may also drop, so if you mine it you better watch the markets closely.
Of course, I expect the difficulty to grow back over time and the price too. But that may not happen too quick.

I believe they are doing the good thing. Monero is one of the most decentralized currency. Much more than Industrial bitcoin or ETH with ICO.
