What are you using ETH for?

I am currently using ETH for ico token purchases using its platform. better than holding ETH. As these projects progress, their token prices will also increase, even if the ETH price does not increase. I will never sell my eth until I get a lot of money from it. Ethereum seems to be all used. I think I only use it to invest. I think eth will follow the btc footprint. So I believe that we should invest more into the eth and not just btc. You can invest into some other altcoin as well.

I am using ethereum for some point in your thread, like to trading ofcourse. To trade ETH into some Alts that i think could become bigger in the near future. For investing into some ICOs too, but not too often. Because of these days ICOs kinda spam each other and become harder to speculate which one could become bigger in the near future.

For me I use Ethereum for long term investment because Ethereum has set itself up to become the largest platform for decentralized services in the world. Ethereum is making progress on it’s road map to support these services for years to come.I believe Ethereum has a bright future and very profitable.

In the meantime I use ETH for long term. At a time when market conditions and Bitcoin stabilized, I had time to do day trade. But when Bitcoin began to decline until now I do not do it anymore. I use it in many ways, recently invested in ICO and now hodl it as the price dropped twice. Also I like trading, I set target's and now waiting for them to fulfill my orders. I also use ETH to buy gas, so I could transfer my funds from wallet to exchange. Don't have an opportunity to hodl ETH, as I find it very hard not ot trade and always find myself somewhere to invest or trade

For me, ETH is something intermediate between fiat money and other altcoins that I want to purchase! And in reverse, of course! It's the most convenient way to deposit and withdraw money and transfer it from one exchange to the other.

I think like most of the people here I am using it for investing in other projects, but one should not forget that most of the ICOs out there are based on Ethereum and are therefore ERC20 tokens. So they will land on your wallet like Myetherwallet. This leads also to the conclusion that most of the people are using their Ethereum just for paying the gas fee in order to transfer their ERC20 token from one wallet to another or to an exchange address or back from an exchange to the personal wallet. I didn't try CryptoKitties yet but I think probably we will see more applications like this where we can use our Ethereum directly as some kind of digital currency.

You are using ETH very well. ETH is a multi function coin, ETH is great for short and long term trade. especially at this time the price is down then this is a good time to buy it for investment especially long-term investment. because I believe the ETH will return to its peak someday.
