Is this because of the US-Syrian chemical attack thingy? If so, then damn.  This is gonna be a huge shitshow. I really don't know what to feel about this; I surely want bitcoin to go up, but screw wars man; hell no to that.

A'ight, RawDog.  Meanwhile we've been through a potential armed conflict with Syria already when Obama was president, and people have been ready to impeach and lynch Trump ever since he got elected--and gold & silver have been either dropping or stagnating at every point in between.  I think the metals market is going to continue to be flat.  People are just sick of no action in it, and there's very little potential for profit unless you're a paper trader (IMO).

Having said all of that, I don't routinely watch the news and am unaware of something war-like brewing.  Is this true?  Are we going to war?

Also:  Defense stocks tend to do pretty well when there's a good chance guns, planes, and tanks are going to get used on a large scale.  Have to keep my greedy little eye on those.

I think that's probably just a bunch of words being said, plus my *uneducated, a-political* guess is that Trump will be less keen to jump into Syria's problems than Obama was, but who knows.  With a complete sociopath (Trump), you never know what's going to happen.

Whether or not it's just "a bunch of words being said", those words are still damn scary if you ask me. Russia and the US are definitely in my top 5 countries that I think will cause or inflict utmost damage if ever a war breaks loose.

I do not think it will happen nowadays investors are getting the price to go up but for conflict war issue I think it is too far and impossible that conflict

Yes, the world is becoming more and more chaotic, and politics are becoming more and more unstable. This should be a good thing for Bitcoin. I hope Bitcoin will rise, which will bring me a lot of income. However, I prefer world peace, no war, no disaster, no refugees.

When US army start making war, investor must be flying their asset to safe have asset like gold. Right now, bitcoin start became safe haven because bitcoin like gold in digital world. Its very nice if we are buying bitcoin now while bitcoin price still cheaper than peak price

In my personal views, there is no need to further go to war where the bottomline is people were the ones to suffer and many children will also suffer too. Just give peace a chance where leaders should have diplomatic talks rather than war. There will no be winners if war will escalate and with regards to bitcoin, I just hope that bitcoin will continue to rise not because of the war but

People cannot create money like Bitcoin (decentralization) and governments have an well established money system that has seen many wars, economic crashes, 9/11 terrorist attacks, economic booms, technology revolutions and more.. over the past 100 years.

Therefore, thank God, we can not yet say how high the price of crypto-currency is in the zone of major military operations. However, we can already say that in the zone of small local military conflicts, the price of the crypto currency will increase. Although gold is a historically proven financial safe haven during times of war and uncertainty, I don't think we can say the same of Bitcoin yet.

Wait for an actual war to be declared and I think we will be in for a huge surprise regarding the price one way or another. Hopefully on the upside  (though I would never advocate war for such reasons of course).
