If I were to choose, still stick with monero, why bother to use another coin which have significantly less market capitalization which could results in a huge inflation and price manipulation?
It's always better to stick with a more durable coin if it's about privacy, also, the other doesn't seem that have more advantages compared to monero though.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

From those lists. I only knew about XVG and MONERO. I like XVG before it was shilled by John McAfee. The price suddenly spike. I like the wraith protocol of XVG.
But currently I not following much more info about XVG. Too much noobs XVG holder and FUD.

According to my way of thinking, Recently, only one coin from this list shows good growth - this is MONERO.because active development, good technology, and strong community and has a very good future.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Deep Onion. A few weeks ago, the thread would probably have been flooded with Deep Onion as the best from its massive community due to free airdrops  Grin. What's happening?

Anyway,I think Monero looks good for the title.
Probably because people thought they were spamming every thing and don't want to be called that type of coin. Not sure if they would crack the top 3 like they are claiming but they certainly can't be the worst privacy coin out there (based off their marketing and website and everything in between, I don't have the tech knowledge to compare). If somebody would like to tell me why technically they aren't up to par, I would love to hear about it. Monero is the industry leader right now, nobody can deny this either.

If I am to choose the best base on some factors, I would rather choose Moner (xmr) base on the fact that, no premine, no crowdsale yet it has good working team.

If they had a rethink and decided to tone down the spamming because of that then it's a good thing. Btctalk forum will breathe a sigh of relief from them.

Secondly, they definitely are not in the top 3 as there is still Dash (masternode), Zcash and co to contend with.
