A few questions for my fellow Newbies and a chance to increase your post count while burning time in this forum.

How did you discover Bitcoin?
For me I discovered Bitcoin after reading a Slashdot article about it back in January of this year.

Why did you wait until now to register on this forum?

I have been reading these forums for several months and recently I came a cross a couple of discussions in the mining forums that I wanted to participate in. So begins the quest to rise above newbie status.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Discovered on reddit in April I think, lurked on this forum for awhile and never made an account until today.  Oh well, another forum to join, Tally Ho!
