We charge 0% FEES and we pay on a proportional payout system, after a block is solved you are paid for your proportion of the hashing and the pool will give you an estimate at the top of your screen of how much you should expect for the round you are mining in.

As far as the promotion

After I see you have been mining on our pool for 24 hours I will email you for a BTC Address and send you your .05 or .1 reward, so if you start now you could have .05 or .1 as early as this time tomarrow plus of course you will receive your regular reward once the first block is solved.

Not to mention our 5770 promotion

one lucky miner who helps us solve the first block will get this brand new XFX Radeon HD 5770 sitting on my shelf!

So c'mon and join the union!

Nice perks.
Would definitely throw all my hashing power here temporarily if it wasn't for the proportional payment method.

PPLNS is probably the best, also encourages 24/7 mining (some would prob. still continue mining after 1st round rewards),
zero financial risk to you, no pool hoppers or other cheaters, no risks typical to small startup proportional pools

(such as zero payout for days, weeks or longer due to long 95+ percentile round)

it doesn't encourage 24/7 mining, each share has the exact same chance of being in the window

Why do you require an email address etc. from your users?

All a pool really needs from it's users is a payment address!

If you then want to add nice features like idle miner warnings etc. just let them decide for which payment addresses they want these warnings (can be done in an account for convenience).

Anyways, no way I'm giving you my mail address on a signup page that misspells "Emaill[sic!]" and proportional is also just interesting for hoppers, not for miners.

each share has the exact same chance of being in the window

Which is exactly why it encourages 24/7 mining.

Your earnings are consistent and predictable, on a proportional pool you are discouraged to mine 24/7 because pool hoppers are eating away at 5-10% or more of your earnings.
You are statistically encouraged to switch away at certain times and hop in early during the start of rounds.

This incentive to 'cheat' (or rather maximize your earnings) doesn't exist in PPLNS or PPS schemes

deepbit requires and email address and they have 5000 g/hash sec speed....

but I appreciate your input as a matter of fact you can put in a phony email address and it wouldent bother us at all - we do not spam you or anything but if you want to get paid the .1 or .05 bonus right now I will need your email for security purposes.

Thank you for pointing out the typo, thats halarious we are using the Mining Farm open front end - I will have to let Xenland know about it.

thank you to everyone who has been mining ! when you reach your 24 hour point I will email you for a BTC address and your rewards will be on the way today!

Is the special offer still open?

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians."

Yes I am putting some more in-depth instructions on the site now, thanks for pointing that out to me

You can now point your miners to :

pool.bitminersunion.org port:8341

if your miners are currently pointed to the ip address you DO NOT have to change them.

Thank you!

@BitMinersUnion.org: I'm having an issue where I have a negative estimated value. Posted in your other thread here:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=32921.msg416157#msg416157

Any idea what may be causing this and if all the shares I'm sending are going to waste?

they are not going to waste. I was adjusting some things on the server and I forgot to reset something. It was displaying your rewards incorrectly thats all - btw technically your reward calculation is just an estimate on any pool - it wont be set in stone until after the block is minted and confirmed.

In any case I thank you for pointing that out to me and its been fixed Smiley

If we continue to grow like we have been we should be solving our first block very soon. We started 3 days ago at 2.5 g/hash , now we are over 10 g/hash!

We all need to dig in and stick this thing out and we will continue to grow and grow! Once we mint our first block it will be a major turning point for us - and will gain us many more miners.

Thanks again for joining and welcome to the union!

we are upgrading the statistical systems and basically rebuilding an entire new front end

we started out using Mining Farm which is an open source pushpoold front end

but found that mining farm is not really suitable for our pool so we are programming a complely new front end and statistical system
mining is still up and I encourage you to keep your miners going so we can get that first block and you can get your daily rewards!

please refer to our main thread for more information

the stats will be down for 24 hours except for the main pool speed which will be displayed on the main page

we need the 24 hours with stats down so we can take your comments and suggestions and make them happen!
but do not worry all your hashes shares and rewards are being recorded and will be paid

again please refer to the main thread!

thank you brothers!

your stats will not show negative anymore - but these are still the old "broken" stats system that came with open source pushpool front end Mining Farm

Unfortunately with Mining Farm they did not create an efficient statistical system. Basically it sends the DB 100 queries for every user every time it retrieve stats - this is of course very very inefficient and would not be practical for a pool above say 2 g/hash of speed

My co admin and partner is coding an entire new front end and statistical system which is going to be up on monday when our pool is migrated to his 100 mbit dedicated fiber optic line.

On monday your going to see a new graphic design, a new statistical system (with features you asked for) and a new announcement that is going to make our pool grow so quickly I wouldent be surprised if we solve our first block on monday when all this happens

I just want to note I am still going to pay daily reward payments - but I am going to wait until monday when al this happens - I will look through the db and see who has been submitting shares this whole time and for everyone that has been submitting shares equal to 1 ghash or above they will receive .15 per g/hash per day and everyone 100 m/hash to 999 m/hash will receive .075 per day

if you are going to be mining for this entire period please email your wallet address to admin@btcnetwork.com and on monday when i can verify the shares in the db I will start sending payments

thanks for being in the Union and I cant wait till you all see our newly designed pool!
