Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

No, i think it's impossible.. governments might determine the medium of exchange by coordinating beliefs, employing transactions policy, and punishing users of alternatives. By declaring an item legal tender, for example, the government might create an especially salient focal point around which individuals can coordinate on a particular money. Legal tender status might be nothing more than a designation; it need not convey any special privileges under the law (though sometimes it does).

I don't think a government can destroy bitcoin. But, I believe they have the capacity to ban the usage of it. Just like what the government of Bolivia, Ecuador and other countries that have already done so. Unfortunately, few countries have taken steps to ban cryptocurrencies and the threat is legitimate.

nothing is impossible, to do including destroying btc, but to do that takes a lot of consideration because not a few are legalizing btc in many countries, now back again to the government will take it or vice versa?

Government can do anything literally everything even commanding war they can. Government was the one who making and signs the law, they assigns the tax on every companies and in every person, and they are the one who command everything.
Can government destroy Bitcoin? Definitely Yes, because of their genuine power in the country. Democracy? Yes, it can help but money and greediness among people will be on the first place.

in my opinion, the government can't destroy bitcoin. because bitcoins are connected. and runs without being controlled by one person or institution, but the government can prevent bitcoin to be used, ie prohibit the use of bitcoin for its people. and for those who violate will be given the law. but I think that's impossible. because bitcoin is a transparent and traceable transactions future. this is the technology of the future. so many countries and governments are supporting Bitcoin technology.

A country with a low economy will not be able to destroy Bitcoin, there are many countries nowadays involved in Bitcoin to get high profits, but there are also risks that Bitcoin will bring to the home. As well as many countries around the world are participating in and allow Bitcoin to grow.

I think it is very impossible if done by one or two countries only, because bitcoin will continue to run as long as there are countries that accept it. if all countries in the world forbade it there may be bitcoin will be destroyed.

any government can ban the development of bitcoin within its country's global economy. however, bitcoin can not be destroyed. we can know it from history. some countries have tried to destroy its development but bitcoin can last more than a decade and to this day will continue in every innovation and growth.

That comment of yours might sound absurd, but it is actually true.
That is the power of decentralization because it has not regulated by single system or groups. It is fully dependent of its users.
While there are any people who are still using it, bitcoin will still be there

The government cannot destroy bitcoin. They can ban it or regulate it but they cannot abolish bitcoin. Too many regular people are living off bitcon that it will find a way to be used by people. Unless every nation gets rid of their internet then maybe bitcoin will be lost. And i don't think that will happen anytime.

Governments definitely can destroy bitcoin. Either by regulating laws on banning bitcoin or make it very difficult to trade bitcoin, in a way the citizens might drop the trading of bitcoin due to all the hassle to involve in trading bitcoin.

Government can't destroy the bitcoin because the life of the bitcoin depends to its users. The bitcoin will not lose its value if all its users will continuing to use and to buy bitcoins.
