What to Expect From A new coin

I think it is obvious that if the project is created for people, if it is popular, if it develops, then of course its token will always have a value increase. But if the project was aimed only to sell tokens and forget about development, then of course all those who invested will have losses.

Obviously it depends on the prerequisites of the coins, such as what is the project, if any, that backs the coin, and the next and most important thing in my opinion is the exchange where is bought/sold.

Once a coin hits exchange, two things are involved
1. Either the coin maintains an upward trend and passes it's ICO price to test new all time high or
2. The coin dumps below its ICO price.
Now in this two scenarios, two things are involved. One the coin will keep trading on a very high volatile mode until it forms it's support and resistance e levels. Two, A new coin is not traded with the help of chart as it doesn't have chart history.

I think a new coin must have a good idea, and according to that, it must be innovative. Unfortunately, a huge part of the new coins have not these quantities, and I think it is not a surprise that many of them become just trash.

I think that a lot depends on which marketing strategy will be chosen by the team of the project. If the project is advertised and people can learn about the benefits of a new coin, then of course they will sell the old coin and buy a new one. If a new coin has an advantage over the old one, then of course everyone will choose a new coin.

I know that in the future many cryptocurrencies will disappear. On their replacement will come another generation of coins. They will not have modern problems. They will become more universal, automated and practical. I think there will be no more than 100 major coins.

Yoyu shoul expect more,because if the coin has been trying to outdate the existing coin,you should see some good improvements with the transaction speed,or the block confirmations, or anything that the existing competitor coin has shortcomings,which is why do we create a new coin to improve the existing,which is why you need to pick only those coins which has updated technology from the existing ones.

Expect more advance technology from compare to the existing coins? because why do these people create new coins? it isnt for the money,its all about the technology that the new coin might bring to our community,because if the new coin is just another copy of bitcoin,ethereum,or any other shitcoins it wont make any difference at all!

The coin must meet certain goals. I believe that the main things and is inherent in all the crypto currency, but I would like that its real price for something is based. It is also possible to integrate into everyday life like payment.

If the technology if greater than existing coin,of course you will be expecting more from the new coin because it is an upgraded version of the existing coin,if ever the coin is indeed has advance technology than the existing coin if not,it will be worthless as far as i can see it wont make any difference! which is why its going to fail.

We should expect much for a new coin because it's difficult to predict it's future if they have the potential to grow. But every new coin counts, we needed to have some to be able to have profits from it. So we should be wise what altcoins to invest money and time because some of them are scams.

Expect a lot of problems. I invested in Electroneum and I have since watched the project crumble. Most ICOs are just fundraisers, so you will need to have a lot of patience with the team as they realize their project goals.

Really can receive the coins which are better than the other coins, but this does not mean that it will be a success. For the success of the coin need a good team, a good project and it is desirable for such project, which will be different from those that came before him.

Expect nothing, most startups are developing something new and most will never see true usage, just getting it to support some cool projects and hope for a little bit of profit.

We should be expecting more,as we all know that these new projects has something new to offer ,because if not it isnt going to be a successful project at all as it wont have any good to us especially when the project is just a copycat of the existing coins,which wont make any difference if we invest! we shouldnt be investing to these type of shit projects because it might be turned into a scam.

   Many good comments in this thread. A lot of different opinions makes
easy to read this thread, and interesting.
   What can we expect from a new coin should be explained in WhitePaper.
In road map should be explained their time line of events.
    Will they fulfill their plans in time depends from many factors. Most
important factor are the people, supporters. All of them need to find a way
to reach to people, to us. If they manage to that they will be successful in
the future.
   I believe in many projects. I plan to give them time to reach their plans. For
some projects I am ready to wait at least 5 years, mostly from the ones that
comes out now.

New technology? of course new innovation or some improvements compar to the existing coins in the market,you shouldnt be investing to those coins which copied the existing projects/coins which doesnt have any good improvements,these new projects should be upgraded version of the existing ones.
