My deposit didn't appear in exchange wallet so I asked support to Cryptopia and got this answer:

The PXC wallet currently has no nodes / connections.
When PXC has some up to date and working nodes these will be added as soon as possible and your deposits will process. You can keep an eye on the PXC wallet here :

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=PXC&view=links

Any solution for this?

Same message I received a week ago and still no deposit of my PXC.

Unlocking wallet after encryption.

I read this from the search results: "Of course, you can unlock your wallet through the RPC console for a specific amount of time if you need it."

How does one do this? Through the console? And if so, what is the command? Thanks.

Respond to the ticket asking them to upgrade to v0.6.6.1

i think you can continue , this is only the front end who is down. but i suggest to wait to be sure, dump that coin , and wait for the hack to end

You can always mine PXC at a p2pool like http://atlas.phoenixcoin.org:10554/static/

Yes, yiimp-based pools (hexpool, zpool, altminer, etc.) were hacked, but altminer is indicating pool wallets may have been compromised. I can confirm payouts were continuing, albeit at very reduced levels, so miner beware...

Cryptopia's PXC wallet node list is being updated — notice just posted today:
Code:
9th September - We have added new nodes to the wallet and have put it into maintenance
to give it an opportunity to catch up to the block-chain.

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm new to Phoenixcoin and the wallet. I download and installed the wallet; it's currently downloading the blockchain. The problem is that there is no address listed in the wallet. All the wallet's I've used in the past, generated a default wallet address.

I would like to solo mine as soon as the bc downloads, but need an address.

Can someone tell me how to generate an address in the wallet?

Thanks in advance!

Mog

PS. And if anyone know's where I can download the block chain directly, let me know Smiley Have several hours left...

Spoken like someone who:
— likes to talk shitcoin, cause it's cool to say shitcoin
— probably mines with his gamebox when he's not playing Witcher
— has never touched anything but Windows because, y'know, JEUX
— has no concept or appreciation for crypto technology
— just loves saying shitcoin, 'cause it's really all about that FIAT

Either go away or, better yet, go make a coin that ain't shit according to you, so you can show us all what that looks like. Kiss

So in your frame of mind you think I'm "raging". Huh — interesting, but not really, just silly. I don't know ghostlander from Adam, and neither you nor he knows me (but I also don't hide behind a silly forum avatar talking smack either - how about you?).

Try taking the time to know who the coin devs are, what they've done or said over the years, and not denigrate older coins because they don't have a huge list of (typically broken) promises on a "roadmap".

I can't figure out your logic in how "he's making money off my back"; all I've done is what you've done — mined some coins, kept some, sold/traded some. No-one pays him a thing; in fact, just the opposite — he has to pay out of pocket for all those servers that support his own coins.

There's a reason ghostlander/John picked the "Welcome to Hell" avatar...  Wink

I must say I am on the fence about this coin. From what I've read, I don't believe anyone has come out and said "This is a scam coin." So if it's not a scam coin, that puts it one level above shitcoin for me. On the other hand, there doesn't appear to be any type of development so....... Huh?

All I know is that it's popped up on 'what to mine' and so I mine it. Sometimes. That's my 2 cents on this coin.

Now, I have 2 questions. 1) Can you mine it directly to Cryptopia? Because on Cryptopia's site it says not to mine directly to their wallet. 2) Apparently I have encrypted my wallet. (I have the password) There doesn't seem to be a "unlock wallet" option, however, someone gave me the command to unlock the wallet for a certain amount of time. I suppose that's ok, but is there a way to unlock it until I shut the wallet down? If so, what is that command? Thanks.

yes its a shitcoin, no matter the fanboy said in the last post, a coin with no development or project is a shit. You see dogecoin ? its the same.

Yes, you can mine directly to Cryptopia, thats what i did in the past 5000 PXC directly to my exchange wallet, and no problem at all. Using hexpool pool

atlas.phoenixcoin.org is stuck mining on block 1494351.  The graph seems to show new blocks but 'recent blocks' is still showing 1494351 as the last, as well as the miner still working on that already found block.  I really liked this P2Pool thing, payouts were finally in line with expectation, unlike most big pools.

Unfortunately I can't find any other pool but the blocks factory, who charge 5%!  WTF?  Anyone know of any other pools?  I can solo mine in QT but I'm not synced yet, and it uses CPUMiner.  Can I change the solo mining software and parameters in QT?

Dev, can you optimize blockchain by generating several large blocks with low difficulty
that will be containing generation transactions in the amount of unspent outputs PXC
for faster syncronization? Can you do it regular? Do you have money burn-address?

I can solo mine in QT but I'm not synced yet, and it uses CPUMiner.  Can I change the solo mining software and parameters in QT?
You can using ccminer with -a neoscrypt, I doing it. 2500 kH/s from 2x1080ti.
