"Don't jump to any prejudicial conclusions so quickly"

Okay, this is a quote from your ANN OP (Phoenix ICO)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3163251.new#new

"Anything is possible with the help of our neural network, the Rebirth Catalyst, that guards PHX markets. One of its prime attributes is its intense training with data from several crypto markets. The training data has been carefully chosen and consists of coins with "pump and dump" history alongside currencies featuring natural value growth/decline. A further noteworthy quality of our revolutionary neural network is its control over various trading bots which are going to be spread across PHX markets.
This truly does make the Rebirth Catalyst a splendid companion for future Phoenix price development.

Imagine a market with recurring "pump and dumps". Recurring "pump and dumps" initiated by trading bots. Trading bots controlled by a neural network. A neural network adapted to create more opportunities. More opportunities to profit through your trading skills and not your speed and insight into price development."

======================

So, an ICO that works pump and dump coins.  Yes, let the pump and dump junk proliferate!  NO! Let real coins like Phoenixcoin (PXC) proliferate and dump the tokens!

Scam, run away as fast as you can.  That's what they will do with your crypto otherwise.

@ghostlander

I found info here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330956.msg8436416#msg8436416 about solo mining.  Is this all still accurate?

Thanks!

I have 39 connections  Cool

For some reason the maxconnections config option doesn't work. ghostlander...known?

I have 75 connections right now. 120 connections on the largest seed node.

What makes you think the maxconnections option doesn't work? The number of outbound connections is limited to 16, so maxconnections - 16 is the limit for inbound connections.

I have maxconnections=12

My connections should be no more than 28 then if I understand you correctly (16 out + 12 in).

maxconnections is a sum of inbound and outbound connections. Setting them to 12 isn't a good idea probably.

And that's what I thought originally. So back to my original statement. The maxconnections config option doesn't work and apparently it is not know with you (ghostlander). Should I file a bug ticket or do we not care?

It works for numbers like 50. There are more important things to take care of. I'll add it to my to do list though.

It's a valid guide.

Why would anyone want to catch another scam ICO token?

Don't jump to any prejudicial conclusions so quickly Smiley We welcome you and other members of your community to inform yourself about our project and conclude that it's no scam. We'd like to answer any of your questions, if any should arise.

I couldn't care less about your project if it used a different name. I've educated hell knows how many people on Facebook mistaking PXC for PHX. When the time comes and your token goes down the drain, I don't want to see your unfortunate investors coming here for revenge.

Absolutely low priority. I certainly appreciate it.  Smiley

I have just brought back in business my oldest P2Pool node located in the Netherlands for European miners.

prometheus.phoenixcoin.org

There will be more seed nodes added in the coming days.

@ghostlander

I have about 20MH/s on TBF PXC pool, but I experimented on the http://menoetius.phoenixcoin.org:10554 p2p pool yesterday and seemed to come out ahead a little versus TBF over a period of time.  Is the info from the OP still true about the block finder's reward bonus?  I'd rather use the p2p pool all the time, and just wanted to verify for my own.

Mining Pools

P2Pool (0% fee, 1% donation, 2% block finder's reward bonus)

Edit:  Just found the answer, saw it in the block explorer for one of the latest minted coins on the p2p pool:

Generation: 25 + 0.2 total fees

On a separate subject, I did try renting Nicehash power, and put d=32767 (their difficulty requirement) in the password field, but when I ran the pool verificator (for the p2p pool), it said that the difficulty was 8 and didn't adjust.  Do you have any recommendations?

Here's the message when I test the pool:  Pool difficulty too low (provided=8, minimum=16383)

Thanks for your time and thank you for pioneering & developing Neoscrypt.  I've benefited from it quite a bit over the last 2 years.

There is a 2% block finder's bonus. It is an additional incentive for miners to play fair and submit all valid shares including those solving blocks. Transaction fees are also shared among miners. P2Pool supports vardiff, so the initial difficulty may seem low, but it gets adjusted quickly by the node to maintain the optimal rate of shares submitted.

@ghostlander,

Thanks for the detailed response, that's exactly what I was looking for.  I'll keep my miners there on the p2p pool.  I'll see about renting some miners from miningrigrentals and see if I get a better response from the miners.

Good activity on Cryptopia too, I hope that others will start recognizing your hard work through these years.

what was on cryptopia now? Somebody sell a lot of coins 300-400k? The collapse of the course does not work because the phoenix is only on the moon. I believe within 1 year pxc will costs at least 10000 satoshi. i think person that sell now a lot of pxc did a very big mistake, market is a game. I think 2018 will year of pxc coin.

There were dumps over 1 million coins each in the past, so nothing really spectacular about this one. There will be time for PXC to have use other than trading on exchanges. Some new features will be introduced by the time of the 2nd reward halving or even earlier.

Any tentative timeline?

Phoenix (mythology)

According to some sources, the phoenix dies in a show of flames and combustion. ( Total crash first)

The phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor ( to the moon)
