my advice to all newbie and including me who is still learning how to be a wise investment, make no mistake to take a decision and do not hesitate to start investing. and also let's make the newbie to join to find bitcoin through bounty that exist, bitcoin can you get without having to spend big capital. but this is a job if you become a bounty hunter, the results you get will depend on how many campaigns you have participated in and how active you are.

For me what I would say to newbies is to never invest in something you do not know anything about or something you do not understand. Make sure you do your research and understand the market to the best of your ability before you start investing in the market. I firmly believe that success doesn't just come and find you. You have to go out and get it. So, I am sorry if I slightly disagree with the last part of your statement. What you have mentioned before that was very true though. Lots and lots of self study and research is necessary in order to contribute to the betterment of this community and become a source of significant information as well. I, myself, began as a newbie and I was then clueless of all these happenings around me. I never thought I'd get involved into something I doubted at first to be true. But look where I am now–a Sr. Member (and I am still hoping to rank up once I have gained the required merits). I admit that at this point,  I am still learning because, learning is a life long process, right? And I still have a lot to know.

So, my advice would be continue on learning, reading, searching, and bring tons of patience with you. This wouldn't be a smooth-sailing ride. Just keep the faith.
