Tim Draper - Bitcoin Price Will Hit 250 000$ In 2022!

McAfee has $1,000,000 by December 31 2020.... I had something like Tim Draper's prediction in mind. For me 6 figures will come somewhere early on the 2020's decade. $1million prediction by McAfee is most likely overkill, but don't rule it out, it's definitely possible due the exponential growth nature. Just look at the growth rate during the rise to $20k. We were seeing gains of $1000's daily. This at a bigger scale in which whales are trying to get a position, could make growth of $10,000 daily during the exponential phase. In any case, it is insane not to be holding at least 1 BTC in 2018.

Extrapolation has a lot of problems.

It's like weight lifting. It's easy to go from lifting 10 kilos to 50, but 250....that's something different

And there is more to it than just holding coins which would be the easy way to reach high prices.
There is the problem of the inflation, right now we print about 100k every 10 minutes, even with the halving coming before this we will still need 1.5 million poured in every 10 minutes.
It's a lot of money, a lot, and this is on top of everything else.

And if we go on just holding and not selling, that would just make bitcoin useless for merchants or traders, and with limited use you also lose value, you have o balance those in order to keep the attention on you or people would switch to something else.

Plus there is this obsession people have about round numbers.
We're going to linger a lot around the 10k mark unless something really big happens but around 100k$ (if ever) we're going to spend years, a lot of years.

You know, even the so great McAfee said that if bitcoin's price doesn't reach 500,000$ by the end of 2020,he would eat his own dick(even though I don't see how that's possible   unless you chop it off). I don't actually want to care about what these investors think. They are rich but sometimes they just cross their own limits for money. This shit is getting old now.

It could happen. I mean nobody expected the 2017 pump to go so high, not even myself.

But IMHO it would surprise me very much if that was the case. First of all, I think the pump will come in 2021 instead of 2022 because of the fact that pumps usually always happen 1 year after halvings. 2022 would be similar to this year, basically a bear market, if history can be related upon in this scenario. I just don't see BTC going as high percentage wise as it has, last year.

I would think that BTC reaching $50k or even 100k by 2022 is a real probable event, but $250k seems a bit high.

Also, note how all of this bullish news is coming out as soon as the market gets pumped 15% in one day. Don't let these articles affect your emotion and guide you into FOMO buying. That's the worst thing to do.

He did predict that bitcoin would reach $10000 in 2017, and he was definitely right on that matter.

However, he is still over-bullish to me. I think the only way for $250k per bitcoin by 2022 to become a reality is if bitcoin can reach mainstream adoption within the next 4 years. I personally think it'll take much longer than that.

Plus, it's way easier to go from $400 to $20000 in 4 years, compared to $7000 to $250,000 in 4 years. They're just on completely different magnitudes.

But that doesn't mean that you should stop being bullish on bitcoin in the long term, don't take others word for it. Make your own decisions, and don't expect such miracles to happen just because some Tim Draper said it.

Words from ultra-bulls like Tim Draper and John McAfee have to be taken with a grain of salt.

To be honest, if the bull market is big enough, then the $250k per coin scenario is plausible. But that's a big if. We haven't seen anything like this and would need legitimate mainstream adoption, and a ton of institutional investors adopting/investing in bitcoin in the next few years. I wouldn't take this as a guarantee, it's merely opinion of others. If you invest solely because some guy said BTC will reach $250k, then that's not a good decision ta make.

This is pretty positive predictions and I hope it will really soar as to that of the expected price increase. But I would say that it is too early to be stating those escalations. As we all know we are just able to predict but nobody can direct the actual price. And we all know the volatile nature of bitcoin it will rise but it may fall in just a matter of minutes and vice versa..We can never say if this will actually become true but I really hope it does!

As much as I want him to be right, don't make the mistake of assigning credibility for future predictions based on past predictions! Many people made many different predictions, so some of them are likely to be correct. Some people can even have a few correct predictions.

If I simply extrapolate Bitcoin's all-time graph in log view, a $250k is on the upper end in 2022. The lower end is around $40k.

As I say before,this prediction/speculation does not have to be true,but Tim Draper certainly has credibility to say something like this after all positive things he did for BTC over the years-and beside that he invest in so many companies which were practically worthless and today worth billions.For years from now we will see whether he was right or it has made a mistake.

Also this article is not affect me in the way I will go to spend money on BTC,it is just speculation-and I am far more then some newbie who will invest in something just because is written in some newspapers.

$250k is probably a bit high for 4 years.

During that time Bitcoin might have another boom in 2019, then maybe another around the halving in 2020, then maybe another in 2022. What would be Bitcoin's connection to the dollar be besides it trading more like a small cap stock or a commodity but with higher volatility?

Whether his prediction is correct or not. I think we can all agree with high confidence that in 2022 Bitcoin will be far far higher than it has been up to this point. Maybe its $250k, maybe its only $100k. But $6k or $8k or $20k will no doubt be viewed in a few years how we view $200 or $1000 now.

I have never heard of Islam receiving bitcoin. If it pleases there can show me a valid article about the news because I know that bitcoin and stock according to Islam is still a consideration between allowed or not.

There are lots of predictions out there with some people saying by the end of 2020 the price could be as high as 1 million. I don’t think prices for Bitcoin will get this high for several years. With all of the volatility in the cryptocurrency markets, there will be down years as well as up years. I think the overall growth will be more steady.

Price of 1 million $ in 2020 is really exaggerated,I think most can agree with that.But most people will prefer to discuss about such prediction and make some calculations how price will get there,rather than comment on some more realistic things.

Unlike some others who just talk(bad or good) about cryptocurrency,Tim Draper was actually investing billions in various projects that are very successful today.I'll just give you one example,Coinbase is one of the most famous exchanges in the world today and Draper is invest 1.6 billion $ in that company long time ago.When we just see list of companies he was early investor : Coinbase, Hotmail,Tesla,SpaceX,Skype and many othes,then it is clear that this is a person who knows how to recognize the real opportunity.

Also he is investing in future of crypto on his university,there you can attend course which is related only to cryptocurrency&blockchain.Knowledge is power,more people who will know about possibilities that blockchain&cryptocurrency offers them means that future for the mentioned looks very promising.
