I think recent history has shown that's an incorrect assertion, and besides which if you took it by exploiting a system glitch they could always sue you to get it back anyway (and $1m USD is more than enough to make that worthwhile).

so if someone withdrew the money into dwolla and sent it to their bank they can keep it right?
Not really... it's a grey area. It's not even a grey area. You can't keep money you "made" because of a technical error, a criminal offence, not even a human error. It's not yours legally.

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

They likely wont let those be cashed out,
same thing happened with the last rollback, I had $500k in the balance but the requests were denied, and BTC buys were frozen so that you couldn't abuse it
Anyway, they gave everyone a free Yubikey because of the bugs

Did anyone else actually sell a fraction of a coin?
Either that or it's a bug that happened on my sell.

Now we can't contact the owner of Mtgox. that's the sad results of no phone number left on website.
