This is a big risk.  But I think the profit will be much greater.  So yes, it's worth investing.

if there is extra money that is not needed at the present time, then why not invest them in a good business, you will still double this amount.

$10k put into a single project could make you rich in a few months time. Spread it to reduce the risk but also the reward. It's only too much money if you can't afford to lose it.

It depends on the situation, if you have alot of money in your savings and you bought 10k usd worth of tokens when they are cheap then it is really worth it, but if you invest 10k and you're broke right now then it is not a good idea.

is it a gambling habit that you invest more than 10k? most people that are into crypto are working and taking classes at the same time. only to take loans for school to put into crypto. should you invest more than 10-30k dollars worth of crypto? back then people are investing only 1,000 to 5,000 into bitcoin. how serious is crypto. back than i hear people opening 2nd loans from their homes. but now it has quiet down a bit.
The value of money for different people is different. For someone, 10k dollars is very much, but for someone it is the amount that he can easily afford to lose.

The higher the investment the higher the worth but make sure to do research first because scammers scattered all around the globe.

It depends on individual how much they are ready to invest because for someone this 10K may be less or if someone invested long back when prices were very less like me surely they will have bitcoin worth more than 10K.

I always tell people that you never should take or borrow money to invest in any kind of investments not only just bitcoins. You should invest only your extra money in investments then only you can wait for a long time if prices go down after your investment otherwise you may be forced to sell at a loss.

Preferably if you want to invest in crypto do it gradually given the price is very volatile, when luck approached you please add your investment amount, even more than 10k. the purpose of the gradual is to avoid the risk.

Really depends on you.

If you were to suddenly lose the 10k, would you be fine with that?

the silliest ting ever is to put money you took from a bank into anything. Nobody should play with what they cannot afford to lose. Even the safest coins are about great risk.

I think the biggest reason for this is that people are hungry to money. No matter how many, they will still want it. So, when the price of Bitcoin was 20000, the whole world was talking about it, and those who didn't know it would see that it was a profitable thing, and they sold their house, their car, and bought Bitcoin. And now they have seen what the crypto world are like.

Why not? If you do not know the more effective way to use such money - then invest. In any case, you know better. Your money.

It will depend from person to person. IMO investing less or more than 10k is not gambling but if greed drive you to do it and have stakes your home to invest then I will call it gambling because if your investment went down , you'll become homeless. Your life will be ruin.
I will not consider gambling if you are investing your extra money no matter how much it is.

Your question is really strange ! 10K for me can be something big but for someone else can be something small . You should be asking about % . How much % of your capital you are welling to invest in crypto . For me my answer will always be 100% .

But let me tell you something , taking your study loan money to put in crypto is just something stupid and the answer to it will always be 0% .

So I am welling to put 100% of my invested capital in crypto .

And I am not welling to put even 1 dollar of my study loan or anything similar to it  in any investment whether it is crypto or anything else .

If you don't know why you are investing or how much you are investing then it is definately not worth to invest that amount. Saying this from my personal experience. Please don't ever invest if you are looking for quick gains.

If you don't need that kind of money for years it can be a good shot. Billionaires are investing millions in crypto, of course, you need to be patient and wait for the technology to develop and achieve worldwide adoption...

If you are truly serious on trading in crypto I would recommend to get in with only $1,000. It you are good, then by one year in would turn into millions.

Yes 10k is very much enough to risk in investing Bitcoin. it will give you a big earning with that amount of investment.

How much you can invest should be related to your total net worth, common consensus is not to invest more than 25% of your worth into any one area, unless that area is very stable such as property, or bonds. I have always been of the opinion that in order for you to really capitalize on the growth of crypto, you need to have quite a significant amount invested into it. That's assuming that you are looking to earn a life changing amount from crypto, let's break it down a little.

Right now it seems unlikely that many of the top 10 coins are going to x5 or x10 any time soon, though you are likely to see at least a 40% gain in value per year. Hence invested $10,000 will yield an additional $4,000 profit. Certainly a great profit by any standards, but not the life changing amount that crypto-enthusiasts have come to dream of. However, if you invest that same $10,000 into a new coin that has the potential to x100, then you can turn your $10,000 into $1,000,000. Of course, this all depends on you picking the correct coin, so in practice this is unlikely to happen, but you will still likely end up with more than you put in.

Certainly, it would be safer to spread your investment over multiple new, high potential coins, that way you are protected against risk, as if one tanks the others will likely pick up the slack. Take Golem (GNT) for example, if you had invested your $10,000 in mid november 2017, and cashed out in January, you would have seen a 500% return on your investment in just two months, such gains are unheard of elsewhere. See the following;

https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/GNTBTC/

Tradingview is a great website for tracking key performance indicators of tokens by the way. That being said, study the market first, invest a small amount to begin with until you have developed an adequate ability to determine where the market will move. Then, once you're ready for prime time, go hard with $10,000+. If you catch a few 3-5x bounces, you can easily x100 within a couple of years. You will be glad you did.

I think it is a bad idea to take a loan to buy altcoins or Bitcoin. Because you should be ready to lose this money. Can you afford to lose it?
So i think a loan is a bad idea. A lot of people are losing money compare to before they did invest. There is more losers than winners.
