Don't try to break it. Make sure the player is good at his game and encourage him or her to start going to tournaments. There's a lot of sponsors just waiting to help you with your gaming career. If you're good start streaming, making youtube videos, get high in the ladder, join the pro scene. Maybe one day you and your team will win a lot of money and become famous.

Online gaming is part of teenage growth not necessary to avoid them to join the trend, before they hook into that be sure to educate them,  show them the bad outcome of that vice. Engage them to real sports, school activities, group studies, summer workshops, summer jobs and for us parents to spend quality time for our teenagers.

Limit their video game time and encourage them to step out of their house for outdoor activities.

You should bind a fixed time for the addicted teenagers for gaming then you should take the device right away from them

Any addition means that there is stress in your life that you are trying to relieve with fast and easy positive emotions. To break the vicious circle of any addiction you need to find the source of stress and remove it. Also more physical activity and healthy diet help.

I saw  many Youtube channels  in gaming and there's always that one game that are popular. It's the main reason why these teenagers are focusing on it because many are playing on it so parents should cut of their internet to help their kids from getting so much addiction
