indulge me for a moment please...yesterday, this video was suggested to me  on youtube    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IehtMYlOuIk   it looked interesting so I watched it...then I wanted to comment....then I started looking at the comments....a 3 month old video, on a 1.5k sub channel...with HUNDREDS of comments just from the last few hours...I investigated...kept refreshing...it was getting over 5000 views per hour for an obscure weird little video...in the comments people kept asking.."why did you tube suggest this?"...some people said they were linked from OTHER SITES...whats funny is, most of them left honest, thoughtful comments about the video...im on youtube all the time, and I know that if a video has 10k views there will be maybe 100 comments....this looked like a huge percentage of viewers were commenting...like google was conducting a digital Rorschach test on people or something...check the stats on this vid...the line goes straight up from almost zero to 400K...check the channel...only 6 videos...it was as if youtube was just trying to see how many lab rats they could get to watch a random video... strange mind control shit going on...perhaps google's comedic epitaph on the death of free will in the digital age...could this be the case?...or is it just a glitch that happened to suck in a half million people?...what do you think?...thanks

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I think I heard that recommendations on YouTube use machine learning, so it could literally be anything that program found as a good reason to start recommending it. Probably the fact that it is a bit more than 10 minutes long (breaking point where they allow a creator to put more ads on the video) and has no ads, as far as I can see, has something to do with it, but who knows.

As someone once mentioned, not even YouTube programmers know the algorithm on how YouTube recommends videos, since it is AI and is always changing.
I mean I never got this video recommended to me and I watch YouTube a lot.
I delete my cookies all the time and websites are pretty much all connected by now through Google's javascript code everyone is adding to their sites.
So it could very well be connected to something else you did on some other website and probably these people too, so AI thought you might like that by some random algorithm that seems to be working for now trough a process similar to natural selection.

TLDR; Don't worry about it.
