Hey there - looking to trade/sell 20 LTC for 40k Ripple (XRP). I'd also like an escrow service for this transaction, someone reputable from this forum - pick an escrow yourself, preferably someone from the top ten lists I've seen around and with a good trust ranking. I will pay the fee myself. As you know, after Bitcoin's crash a couple of days ago, all ALT-coins took a hit... but LTC is one of the best bouncing-back currencies on the market, set to hit the $30 mark again pretty soon I'm sure.

P.S. - the reason for an escrow service is to avoid any doubt from the transacting party's part on my reliability, as well as to avoid any sort of scamming. No FIAT offers or any other currency offer. Thanks!

currently on a well know exchange you'd get 42.7 ltc for 37k ripple, so why would anyone take your offer?

and why not just trade on an exchange yourself?

I don't know, maybe save the hassle of having to sign up with an exchange which deals with XRP, converting XRP into BTC and incurring a fee (whereas here I'm willing to pay the fee myself), and the fact that LTC has a better prospect than XRP. I only want to trade since I have a fair amount of LTC myself and I'm trying to have something of all top 5 currencies

You could use the dividendrippler-LTC <-> XRP order book in Ripple.
It wouldn't incur a fee (at least not for dr-LTC issue).
