I think the best way to hold this in priportional of 50% percent. 4.5 btc and 75 eth. It will be more safety investment for sure. Don't hold all money in single currency never.

150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC?
Almost worth the same value now,  but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?

you must answer some question before buying this coins:
1- are you newbie or no?
2- are you holder or you are trader?
3- do you have strategy or no?

if you are newbie, i suggest you buy only BTC and also if you are holder buy BTC, if you are professional trader, you know that you must invest on BTC about 50-70% of your money. and trade with other 30-50%. also if you are holder for long term for example for the end of 2019 suggest you to buy ETH.

Thanks a lot for this suggestions/information , It'll help me a lot in the near future ... I'll keep this in mind

very good questions! If we will based it on the growth of the coins, bitcoin is good for holding than ether. Price of bitcoin fluctuates very high and its dominance in the market is 41%. High dominance means more coin value, more profit correct me if I'm wrong. But what I suggest is that divide it equally for btc and ether because we cannot predict which coin will excel. It is the safer option.

Go BTC. It will be worth it.
It is just silent again this past weeks but it already grew so much. Again there will always be a pump that will come and there will be limited bitcoin left.
When that time comes you will be having a hard time to get even just 1 BTC.
And I am sure it is worth something. Too expensive to buy anymore.

I'd rather go with 150 eth since this coin has a high chance of getting your investment doubled however this is more risky compareto btc which is a stable coin. If you would like to be safe and earn a bit go with btc but if you like to take a risk and want to earn bigtime then go with eth.

Why not try to split it? is not that also a good move. and you are big enough to be able to divide up in some potent coins or tokens, can also invest as well. profits can also be greater

It would be wiser to go %60-70 BTC and -%20-25 ETH and remaining other speculative and shining alts like BNB and others.

If I had to choose, I would choose etherium. It is more volatile, thus more chances to obtain profit in the future

I think the best decision is to invest in both , or even add a few good alts to your portfolio . If I was on your place , I'd buy good altcoins for ~20% of budget , 50% spend in bitcoin and 30% to ethereum . You can sell altcoins after their pump and make stronger your bitcoin or ethereum deposit . This will make your funds work better and give you additional profit .

Better to hold 70% in Bitcoin and 30% in Ethereum. Bitcoin will be first cryptocurrency until all cryptoworld will be died. Ethreum has problems and young tokens will force out it

For me, the preferred option in this hypothetical situation would be the purchase of Ethereum and bitcoin in equal parts. This is the basic principle of asset diversification.

I would probably choose ethereum because it has more space than bitcoins to go up. Bitcoins price is already pretty high at 8000$,even though there are lots of speculations saying it is going to increase over 300% until the end of the year. Still ethereum price is low now at 500$ and bitcoins price wouldn't be affected much if ethereum price goes up faster because anyway it is extremely hard to take control of the whole market.

If I were you I will choose ETH over BTC. The value now of 1Eth in term of Btc is approx 0.06 but few months ago it was around 0.1, I believed that history will repeat itself. Thus I suggest to choose Eth.

I recommend to divide 50-50. because the coin price is very fluctuates. we also do not know the price ahead. maybe by dividing 50-50 can reduce your losses or cover your losses if one of the coins the price decreases, if both coin prices go up high then congratulations for you.

Ethereum can fluctuate more than bitcoin's movements which is why i would choose ethereum to hold, bitcoin on the other hand might increase its value expotentially but for me it isnt safe to invest as the big players are manipulating its market, seems there will be less improvements to bitcoin's value as these people dictates what will happen in the future.

For the end of 2018 I will probably choose Bitcoin because the average new investor will choose Bitcoin. But if you are planning for a long-term investment I believe ethereum will generate bigger profits than Bitcoin.

9.5 btc means around 76000USD .
so hold 30% in BTC .
15% in Ethereum
15% in Neo
10% in LTC
10% in Ripple
rest 20% in new project like wanchain , fusion , credits , or new ico based on blockchain services .

Good ratio. Always keep some BTC and ETH in stock

I will choose 150 ethereum. For the price now. You will have more than 477.5 usd by choosing 150eth to 9.5 btc.
Even the price back, bitcoin goes up to 19.5k usd each and eth goes up to 1,308 usd. The gap will rise to 10,950 usd.
