Since I am a newbie in this forum I post my question here.

Say I have 1 btc in the 'change address' A of Electrum, all other addresses are empty. Then I have made a transfer of 1 btc to 'receive address' B with a fee of 0.0001 btc. After that electrum shows 0.9998 btc in 'receive address' B and 0.0001 btc in 'change address' C.

What happened??? I know that 0.0001 btc was spent as fee, but why is another 0.0001 btc transferred to another change address?

Can anyone explain it?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
