I got one of the 2011 mis-print Casascius coins for fifty bucks. I bought in before that, but for obvious reasons that's the one I feel I got the cheapest. I just saw one sell on eBay yesterday for $2865 (or thereabouts)!

Bought 10BTC for $9.70 back when you use paypal on mygox. Donated to faucets bought a nerdbadge.
Found an old wallet the 2BTC a couple of months ago and got into mining.
That's pretty bloody good! Do you still have those bitcoins?

Wow, how many Bitcoins do you have? Sounds like you have like million of them 12 What, you sold the 1000 BTC Casascius gold coin? Apparently, it's 1000.2332 BTC now and hasn't been opened. (I saved the address 'cause it was one of the marker points where pirate funds flowed to.) That coin is nuts now. One could trade that 1oz gold coin for 10 kg gold. @Topic: My cheapest coins were less than 0.7 USD a piece. But I sold them long ago. I've been turning more and more bearish with every price hike, so I've not really profited off the recent huge ones. Not that I have a reason to regret that. Betting on things I can't predict would be pure gambling, which isn't something I like to do. Good job to anyone who did predict it and acted accordingly.

Couple of coins when they were around $3. Never looked at them till they hit $80. Sold then, and never looked at BTC. Still one coin on bitcoin-24.com which I can't seem to get off. Now starting to buy again. Not for trading, but with the intention to keep them for some years and see what happens then...

I bought 24 at around £9 each as my brother told me to get into it. Price began shooting up when i was in afghan to aroud £40. Thought it was a bubble about to burst and sold making a bit of cash. Wish i had held on. I sold a shit BFL Single miner as a pre-order to someone for 8btc as BFL were taking their sweet time and bought 8btc worth of shares in labratmining before they got off of Bitfunder. The price has dropped and i think i will be lucky to get 1.5Btc for the shares if i could find a buyer. I could do with those 8 now and selling them for xmas money.
