In April this year I made a tentative start in Bitcoins.
I set up the software, and waited for it to sync....  and found it had used up all my internet traffic quota.
So I reduced maxconnections, then to gain confidence I went to 2 faucets and signed up for small contributions.  I sent each one a new address so I knew what had come from whom.
The faucets were:
daily bitcoins.org
bitcoinfaucet.at
I waited and waited, expecting something small to appear.  Still nothing, after 2 days!
So I tried 3 more:
freenitcoins.macdonaldboats.com
coinreaper.com
cointicket.org
Still nothing, after a week!
Where did I go wrong?  Can anyone help please?

I dont using faucets anymore, but I know you must aggregate certain amount before these faucets pay you out. Read the min amounts you have to aggregate (might take few days) before expecting payout (make manual withdrawal of aggregated coins where necessary)

forget about faucets! it is not a way to earn money. you are just wasting your time.

if you want to be rich from internet, do either of these:

learn to code, develop some projects or freelance
learn to design, sell them
learn internet marketing (affiliate marketing etc)
learn to write, make usable blogs
etc, learn skills needed by society.

you can't make money for free or without hard work. either you have ton of money to invest, or you got some skill to sell.

You can make money using faucets, albeit miniscule amounts.
You dont have to do any of the above to get bitcoin

All you need to do is find something to do that you would normally be paid in fiat currency and instead ask for bitcoin, whether selling products, services or other.
And it need not be hard work if your smart about it  Wink

i said "if you want to be rich from internet". if you want pennies just ask random people at the street, some will give you for free Tongue
then buy btc with those pennies. it easier and probably make more bitcoin than with faucets
