Winner of this year, ETH or BTC?

No one can make an accurate who is the winner in this year because it is not the end of the year 2018 but also it is hard to decide which is the one of the good now it is ETH or the using of BTC only the person who can judge is the person who usually often use those two.

Ethereum will win the final. I really bet on the rise of ethereum simply because people are really building on it.

None will be the winner totally. Price of BTC and ETH influences each other. In terms of investment, ETH is better than BTC, but by popularity, BTC is the winner.

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

BTC are winner always in this year, because Bitcoin the leader and center of the coins, eth is the second if the BTC go down the eth also down. If the btc grow up also the eth are going up.

You're right.  BTC this year is the best coin.  And I think BTC is now the most reliable investment coin.

To me i think ethereum can not replace bitcoin positions, both have their respective advantages and disadvantages.bitcoin remains the king of all coin.

I think Bitcoin is still a winner because it is still a coin that people like, even though the Ethereum Network is currently making more transactions at a higher speed than bitcoin, 99% of alternative coins are based on the Ethereum network, judging from the use of course ethereum is far better than bitcoin, but now it's too early to talk about winners,  because launching a new network means there will be more opportunities and situations can change at any time.

In my opinion every year wins the BTC.  Therefore, the most profitable thing to invest in this coin, especially a very good time to buy was in March.

Bitcoin for sure, it's now worth more than 20x of what ethereum is, back in january it was only 8-9x higher

Bitcoin is undoubtedly the leader in the cryptocurrency world, as it was the very first. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to make money on Bitcoin. Ethereum is a later platform and has not yet reached its maximum. I think even if the leadership goes ETH, it's not for long.

ETH has not kept up its momentum as it did in the past. The skepticism of investing in ETH has appeared on many reputable sites on the Cryptocurrency market. Although BTC no longer holds the value of its horror, BTC is still the highest value electronic currency and relatively stable.
