That is not a good partnership by verge,they migh be too desperate to push the market up.It seems that verge doesnt have any choice but to accept these websites, pornhub as one of the best pornsites out there,it will be much better if another coin can be use at those websites,so that there will e alot of option,i doess watching porn daily that is why i invested to bitcoin.

I don't think it will become an advantage to the name of verge but I think they are aware of what they did. For sure, verge will down in the next few months after this news spread from the earth.

Was the decline in the price really brought by the sudden announcement of verge partnering with the said adult site? I really am not quite sure if it is. With regards to the reputation, nobody really cares about it when it comes to money. After all, this is a coin, doing a major step out of the "comfort zone" and actually leading itself into actual use.

The only thing negative here is the irony about this is that the community whether it is the crypto or just the social community, we tend to think that adult sites and porns are taboo (yes, it is explicit but not taboo) and still, a lot of people are, in fact,  using such site anonymously. I really don't think thats the main reason. People doesn't really care as long as they get profit from it. Pornhub accepting verge won't affect verge's value at all.

I totally agree with you on this. It's a strategic move done by pornhub to increase incoming customers cos privacy and anonymity. This won't affect verge it will surely pump the coin since lots of pervs all around the world.

one does not need to pay a large fee to be able to enjoy the content that is served

This is a very specific industry. On the one hand, this is positive for Verge, as the popularization of the coin is always a rise in price and an increase in sales, capitalization. On the other hand, this industry is condemned by some people, therefore reputation can suffer a little. Time will show what's more - positive or negative.

While Pornhub is a huge website. I highly doubt that they have a lot of paying users. Just like all other tube sites, they mainly profit from ads. So the fact that they will accept some krypto currency that is mainly unknown to 99,9% of their users. I hardly think there will be any transactional volumne.
